Gygerim Kill

So I put this event mission which wants 1 gygerim kill.
The Gygerim spawne in my face and I shot it first but didn't take the kill for the mission ?
Why ??

 

Same here on East 1 the kill is not counting for the event Quest

 

You have to have the lock that's for sure, and its impossible. And unfair...

No way to get the lock first unless it spawns on you, and the stupidity of the people shooting its insta shield just makes things more difficult.

 

I dont see the progress bar... how are u guys shooting Gygerims?

 

Go into battle maps, it shows the bar on infection window. you need 2000 ofthe minions to die. Then it spawns with insta shield, and you need to kill more till its off, then fight it. It's got a lot of shields and hp.

 

Hmm.. I participated in the destruction of Gygerim but did not get the quest completed. Do you have to shoot the Gygerim first? If so, it makes the quest nearly impossible to complete.

 

Yes, you have to get lock first, but others have said that doesn't give them the mission either, but they should change it.

 

maybe they will change it they did on the price of ammo for this event

 

I think you have to get the lock first and your group must deal the highest damage of all players
it is the same as demaner

 

Same with me had first shot 3 times the 4th time got shot off of it and still didnt count for quest. Jonnyc i think east 1 is bugged or something! Can we get support to look into this plz.

 

Enigmatic, Much like the Demaner Event, you (or your group) must be in possession of the red lock at the time of the Gygerim being destroyed. The rewards are shared, but only one player (or group) can get the kill point. Try to outfit with others trying to complete the quest and keep trying. I know it can be difficult, but in a group you have more chances of success.

As I said, the Gygerim spawned in my face and I shot it first. I had the red lock, but no kill. Don't tell me that you need to have the first hit after the ISH goes.. that's just no way. The Demaner was spawning on a known gate, but the Gygerim spawns in a totally random place of the map which makes things 100x more difficult than the Demaners. I can see a Hercule mission incoming. None will be able to finish it

 

As a side note my Gygerim Parasite tide status counter is simply broken, doesn't show how many more of the smaller npc to go for the next kill, seems to be several issues with this little counter box on the screen. Already cleared cache etc, still no luck, my counter has been like this for a good few hours now.

Edite to add: Also have issues with event boxes simply disappearing when I approach them though the same happens to regular boxes too.
