Parasite Tide

When is the Parasite tide event ending, today or tommorow?
Can I get the achievements that request me to heal players from their infection whenever I want to or do I need to finish them within the deadline of the event?

 

The event ends at 25/5/2015 on 23:59:59 UTC --- And you gotta finish them until that time ^^

 

thanks, can anyone confirm that I have to finish the achievement 'Doctor Without Borders - Cure 100 players.' before the end of this event?

 

I dont think you have too, the infection and cure cpus where sold so still should what they did during the event.

 

of course the cures will still work but will they count towards the achievement?

 

Yeah I have not seen anything that said it wont.

 

and so far, 26/05/15, the event has not ended ... I have looked to see if event announcements mentioned an extention... not found anything yet.. maybe the infection has made the GMs sleepy

It'll end on midnight, May 7th, or at the end of May 26th, not the beginning. Look at the time.

The event starts on 8th of May, midnight and will end on 25th of May 2015, to 23:59h LST."

which bit of that didn't I understand KilerStreak? I am talking about US1 server... would I be wrong to say that the 25th May finished 10 hours ago? Just out of interest I didnt post until after Reset on 26th in case ...

I was sure I saw in the original announcement that unfinished quests would be allowed to finish. It would mean that for some quests, the boxes, special npc's would need to keep spawning.

already seen some Surgeon designs in the maps already, and the Event sales are over and i think the Green bonus boxes are gone too.

The people at DO don't know how to tell time or distinguish between dates. They have posted the wrong Date for special events for months now, it is very frustrating.

I, and others, have made pointed threads about this before, but no one at DO HQ wants to learn how a calendar and a clock work...that's too bad, as we will keep getting WRONG information about event times/dates...sad DO, sad.

WHAT HAPPENED : The event started at midnight on the 9th of may....

DO thinks that "midnight is the last hour of a day, so after 11pm on the 8th, you get 12pm on the 8th, then 1 am on the 9th........

But as EVERYONE KNOWS midnight is the FIRST hour of each new day...NOT THE LAST....So after 11:59pm on the 7th we get 12:00 AM on the 8th....But DO thinks that its called midnight on the 7th still.....dummys

 

idk why you're all talking about the event dates or the event in general, my only question was if I can still get the event achievements which require me to heal people even after the end of the event.
