[TI] Seprom not applying to my shields

Hey I just spend 15 mins on game trying to figure it out. I sepped my ship's shields and at first they went up, but as soon as I change confing my shields are dropping down like I have never upgraded them with seprom. I did relog like 5 times and followed the advice of another player - prom up my engines, but the problem is still there - my shield goes up and as soon as I change config it's like I haven't sepped them up. Any more solutions? Although I prefer a fix of that from DO so it doesn't happen again.

 

check your configurations ,do you have the same amount and type of shield generators on both configs?

 

I think I know a bit better than that. What I am saying is that the 40% shield boost on seprom was glitched. Day 2, still waiting on reply. Meanwhile I am just gonna chill and have some time off from the game, too may glitches atm.

 

There is i see a little bug for a few days. When you want upgrade your lasers/or something with a metarial- if you upgrade first time it doesnt work. Its simple like that:
If you want upgrade your lasers with seprom and you put 5 sep on it, but that doesnt work/doesnt seems you sepped for 50 min. If you put 1 more, you will see 60 min.

So i recommend : if you will sep your lasers with 5000 seprom, first time put 1 seprom, and the second time put 4999.

-Sometimes its work on first time but second time it doesnt work.-

It's not visual glitch, that is the more concerning problem. I ragequit 2 days ago, because I send some sep to my ship to fight a player (100 sep) that I had a beef on so I sepped up my lasers for 1000 rounds, but surprise - he won the fight, because I was shooting naked lasers instead of seprom. And I used over 250 RSB in that fight because my lasers were hitting 60% less of what it should be.

As I said, the bug with my shields didn't get fixed by putting more rocks on. When I put a rock the shield bonus for seprom applies, but as soon as I change my config it is gone again. Put a few rocks, relloged a few times, spoke in chat with some people and after 15 mins of trying I just logged out. If this happens with lasers too the things will get worse and I am afraid this is not taking any attention from the DO team. I mean come on, for 4 days no reply from them?

 

get relog, after that it should be added .

Hi guys,

Just to make you all aware, i have checked with the quality assurance guys and the issue with adding resources and the counter resetting to zero is known to them and has been forwarded to the developers to be fixed. The only thing that i don't have is any time frame as to when this issue may be fixed.

Thank you all for your patience with the issue, and thank you for those who have suggested the common hot-fixes that appear to resolve the issue in most cases.

Can i ask, when you changed your configuration and noticed a sudden drop in your shields, did the counter also drop down to zero or did it still look like they should have been upgraded with seprom?

It was still showing me the remaining minutes of upgrade, just the shield bonus was missing.

Update: It just happened again so I logged out much quicker than expected. I have send a ticket and got a reply that support wasn't aware of the issue. The reply was send on 28th of May. I wrote them back referring to this thread, but there is still no reply to that (been almost 2 weeks). I feel like the game team is forcing me to quit once more. TBH in the last 2 weeks I may or may not have spend more than 2 hours online and the way that things are headed this is gonna change to even less activity from my side.
