[SC] Opinions on new Drone Formations

Darkorbit's new Drone Formations:

Darkorbit have recently released the new Drone Formations even though many of the players are against the release of these formations. Though Darkorbit partially took into consideration the views of the majority of the players, that these formations were overpowered and as a result adjusted these formations, many of the players were completely against the release of these formations completely.

Personally, I believe these formations (mainly Drill, Ring and Wheel) will bring the end of this game closer because they will not allow the new players a chance to advance in the game without being killed repetitively and they will stand no chance against UFE players with these formations. They already struggle enough, why make it 10 times harder?

These formations are directed to those who are above Fully Elite closing to UFEs. There is no chance a below Fully Elite player can buy these formations without purchasing uridium in the Bigpoint shop. They also do not stand a chance to survive attacks from players with these formations.

It is not only below Fully Elite players who are going to struggle but anyone below UFE standard is likely going to struggle in PvP against UFE players with these formations.

I think the addition of these new formations are fine, it'll add something interesting to the game Im not even close to ufe (12 lf4) and ill surely be utilizing drill and ring and that new honor one in the future. I have already begun to use drill and as it does give a huge dmg boost yes, its cons are also huge my shields are puny when I'm using that formation , also ring is very easily countered with moth. I also did not need to purchase uri to get these formations, i have never bought uri and I'm progressing fine, all it takes is time and patience

Darkorbit needs to be more newbie friendly rather than adding more expansion based items for the veteran players, As a new player on multiple servers it is very hard to advance in the game to FE and then UFE afterwards for any new player playing the game.

 

It may be alright for you but just imagine a below FE trying to fight someone, say a UFE, with the formation like Drill.... He would get destroyed so quickly.

 

Ring should get it's 100% absorption back

Noobs get destroyed by goli's using regular formation... On that, I get it by UFE in goli in regular formation. They can keep the formations available. The cons are great and most players are going to attack in Moth still anyways since there is no speed issue and Bat or Diamond are still my favorite for PVE.

3D drones are exciting and i think a hard work toward having e.x DRILL is on top of shopping list

Overall 3D is just perfect

 

For a moment I though bp had benchmarked Blizzard when they came to forums. Now (again) I realize it was just an illusion. Why did we even test drones? Why did we give feedback when bp adds the formations ingame two days after testing them first time. No adjusting, nothing. They just added incomplete formations ingame and now they cannot be changed anymore.

 

OP, already considering to quit, no way I'm going back for palladium, everything is just to expensive and chances are to small. Most of my formations also became a waste now, upgrading is to expensive and chances for hercules / lf4 are to low. And as if that isn't bad enough we have come accros the line of max combi hit (no diminsher): 225K to about 270K... Bye bye.

 

Oh they can change them, just like they changed the Pusat after Turkey already had it. None of them look to be all that though; just more to get everyone fired up.

 

The real problem is support is very slow when reply to people.

 

I completely agree, the drill and ring formations are overpowered.

 

Support in my opinion give cut and paste answers in a book, or in a search algorithm that give the answers and can't freebase their answers due to legal consequences, or players would complain about bad advice.
