[UI] Server merging

I have been playing recently on: USA 3 (East Coast) and have noticed that the DO player base is dwindling nowadays.
Before you reply "switch to global america 1", think about all the time invested in a server that is lost when you switch.
I don't know how difficult this would be for Bigpoint, but I definitely think consolidating USA 1, 2, and 3 would be reasonable and repopulate maps for a better experience.
I don't know how it is for you global america players, but maps are dead most of the time. Sure there are active people, but there is a very steep learning curve to progressing from FE to UFE.
I think by merging the servers, there would be more FEs and sub-FEs sprinkled in.

 

Would be beneficial maybe, but from what we've heard from DO it's not possible or easy to merge servers as they were "Not designed for it"

 

I Hope this sooooo much. i dont pay alot but the time and money that i put in the game is kindly waste cause the server is dead (this is my opinion) so i left the game (still waiting for a merge to come back) my friend put a good amount of money in this game and he think the same thing of me for an exemple the nexon game Combat Arms did it and this is not big fail for now(i know they just merge North America,Oceania and Europe servers and maybe DO need more than 3servers to merge ) so i think it the only way to save many servers but it will be very apreciate by alot of players.I was here in 2008 and everything was perfect, so many people in the server and a tight and fair fights.I'm very happy to see all this new update and the 3D is very cool. They must find a way to merge or whatever thing to patch it.I'm very sad of it cause Darkorbit is a awesome game and my top 1. ty deamon for this and i wish it will work.

Thanks so much. Maybe more than three servers could merge, it would definitely be cool.
Not only would it save Bigpoint money on server upkeep, but maybe more would buy uri if they were playing with more people and thought their purchase wouldn't die out with the game in a few months.

 

Interesting. Even if it wasn't easy, I'm sure if they merged servers, many would appreciate it more than an update.
I can't tell you how much better the game experience is when there are people of all skill levels on every map.

 

I'm up for it specially looking at the conditions of GB1...its a desert bro..maps almost empty, they should also merge GB1 and GB2 together for atleast somewhat good experience...
