  1. It used to be POSTS were left open until AUTHOR agreed to have it closed. I had 2 posts here and neither had any input from "admins" and one had no responses at all before they were closed for inactivity. Funny we get in trouble for BUMPING to keep them active and they get CLOSED if we don't BUMP them. So what are we supposed to do to get items changed?

Oh that is right this is Big Point and they don't care what their players think, unless you BUY everything.

  2. It's that if the OP does not respond within x amount of time it will be closed, and is always available to be reopened if requested.

The answer provided by FooJubIsBack2 is correct.
Hades~Pôšëîdõn‡Tríp, Topics posted in Update and Idea threads are not typically answered by the Forums team. Therefore when a thread goes dormant for too long, the topic is closed due to lack of activity. This is to prevent unwanted spam on an inactive thread. Any such thread that is closed due to inactivity can be reopened by posting a new thread with a link to the thread to be reopened.

    Best regards,
    .-Raijin-.

  4. Define "dormant for too long."

Its actually gotten better as I used to see threads opened and closed in the same day and often in the same hour. Now at least the mods seem to ask first. Its much better now.

My thread about the Iron Goliath seems to have been deleted / moved and it's only been up a day..

  6. I found it and you told them to close it.

I created another one with a poll, it had 5 votes and it's been deleted.

  8. lol, OK, I have had 2 post of mine deleted but I know why so I am not going to fuss about it. All I can say is think about what you said in it. That might tell you why it was deleted.

Ok? I asked why it doesn't have a bonus, and suggested it should have, and created a poll with several different options.

  10. I just reviewed your first one. I think you requested the close too soon and am going to guess that your second one was closed for being a duplicate. There should had been an answer to your first thread instead of you being duped into starting over. You asked a very good question. The design is only available after winning in TA. Why would it not have a perk. You should request that thread be reopened for discussion.
The "admins" do not always answer forum questions. I personally don't think they can answer all the questions as they are like us, players, or former players. Remember, they volunteer their time and their main duty is to try and keep the forums on topic and from getting crazy. They do seem to help from time to time but like you pointed out, a lot of them come in and close threads due to inactivity. As threads open up faster, you will find that the inactive threads get mass closed. It cracks me up that they slipped by but I also realize that some threads are opened and then the OP abandons them. I am not saying that is the case with you but it does happen.

Perhaps it was closed for that reason, how would I go about requesting it to be reopened? Thanks.

    Hello^ ^
I believe we have been leaving threads in this section for a roughly month - as in once they've been inactive that long. Of course, I could be off, I'm not one who generally handles that stuff.

If we do close an idea after inactivity the OP can always ask us to reopen it and we'll be more than happy to do so :)

Depending on what section you posted your thread in, having a poll in it may be the reason the thread was deleted. We don't allow polls in some sections, such as this one.

You could ask in the chat area of the forum as to why a thread is closed or deleted if you're ever unsure. However, hijacking this thread for it isn't quite the way to go ;)

    Regards,
