[TI] LF4 Day Or No LF4 Day? I'm Leaving BYE!

Its always been said that hard work pays off and you get your reward for working hard and you feel happy and feel proud but thats not the case in darkorbit any more! from the last month I had been playing the game intensively, doing gates, boxing, cubis, npcs and made some uridium and bought 411 booty keys. From the last 10 days I would every morning wake up and rush to my pc and open darkorbit if it was lf4 day or not. I was so excited...and eventually today when Lf4 day had arrived, I was totally broken after picking up my all keys (totally dishearted). I got only lf3 and only lf3 (about 9 lf3) as if the chances of not lf4 but lf3 were x3, since I already had 50+ lf3 so the new ones don't mean anything to me and rest of the keys were just few bo2s, apis parts and hour boosters which were useless as I already had. But the main reason for this day is lf4's and if your not even getting 1 in 100 keys that is still too much so in my case from 411 keys if I am not getting even 1 then understand how I feel now about the game. I just gave up after picking the last key and decided that enough of darkorbit, I played this game now for 2 years and had 15 lf4's, was expecting some from today but leave it its over now...Before saying bye I would also like to remind that 30% people left because of cheaters, 30% left because of pay to win, 10% left because they didn't like it and 30% left because their valuable time,money and efforts were dusted (like no lf4 from 411 keys on a lf4 day with x3 chances). It is for people like me that come and write here, for others they don't even write it here and just leave the game. Enough said, Bye to all my GE1 friends. Bye Bye.

 

Geezzz, today in Lf-4 day i had 21 bootey keys and starting to collect bootey the first key was a lf-3 and the second a lf-4, just 2 bootey keys and got a lf-4 lol, and after 14 keys more the second lf-4, so just with 16 bootey keys i got 2 lf-4s, remember when u collect is in the pvp map of the company most screwed like VRU company is in all the servers the most screwed xD that map 4-3 is more reasy to get lf-4s, i got 58 lf-4s playing much ,kappas, bootey keys(mostly) and few epsilons, dont lose the hope m8 :/ take care

 

Pathetic cry post. I have too got 0 lf4 out of almost 400 keys (during lf4 doule day) but that happens. Another day I got 13 lf4 from 550 keys. Starting fresh in GE1 I got in 4 months around 40 lf4, full havocs, full shield upgrades, 43 pilot points and some million x4 with hard work and I never felt the game was too expensive. And now they are making the game less expensive every month due to criers like you which in my opinion is not entirely a good thing. I believe that when people reach max. gear faster they also quit the game faster because for many players the main goal is to develop their ship, not to hunt endlessly.

 

ik i used like 40+ keys and i got 2 lf4s 3 or 4 bo2s and 1 lf3

I am not crying, I am just upset, I am not raging just telling the emotions, even if not 13 like you if i would have gotten 3-4 lf4's I would have been smiling, but after so much hype for this all situation and I get absolute zero, you say I am crying? I am just an fe who after getting killed for 200+ times and struggling in pvp for boxing without premium for a month and something collected this much booty keys and the outcome was zero, the fact I am trying to tell is that with rare chances I was only getting lf3's, which meant that the lf4 day probably had bugs with not giving lf4's, well whatever the problem is and was, therefore I am just relying on this thread if an admin or moderator clarifies about what is really happening...

 

Sometimes I feel I am running behind the pack but in all actuality the more I hear about players having issues getting LF4's, the more I am glad I have not really put any work into getting any and just stick with my leveled up LF3. That said, I have just started working on building my 3 gates that give drone designs and LF4's. I feel bad for everyone that has been chasing them but at the same time am glad I have not been concentrating on them. If I have read one thread about players doing 30 plus gates and spending 5k keys and only having about half the designs/LF4, I have read 1000. I hate to see that you are looking at leaving the game but feel confident that the chance factor is not going to change to improve the situation anytime soon. They can make us lots of promise but the dice land how they land. Special booty box days come and players everywhere get all fired up to buy keys like they are about to be instant UFE, only to rant and rave in chat and forums like its spaceball and they can't chase off the port sitters. While you are chasing that stuff, have you cleared all the missions? Have you been helping to mentor the new players? I know the answer to these questions could be yes but still don't get all wound up. Play and have fun. You will be happier for it.

 

So BP/DO, I ask you where exactly are these so called LF4? because they are not in any booty I have opened recently, all I keep getting is LF3, started the day on>> (84)(85)(86)(87)(88)(89)(90)(91)(92)(93)(94)(95)(keep getting lf3) check my logs and see how many Green booty I have opened recently??? No I do not say that they should give an lf4 easy way (Considering it the best weapon) but I am saying that they should consider the lf4 %chance system, which does not work properly to be fair according to the number of booty keys a person is using e.g 100,200,400+ etc and which comes only for 1 or rarely 2 days in a month...

 

Well at least you tried keep trying, Never give up!

 

BP can say anything they want..... They can put down 99% chance to win LF 4s and you can have 500 booty keys and not get one LF 4 There is always that 1% left that says you don't get nothing

 

A guy got 3 lf-4 and spectrum and venom from 30 keys.. it's all chance. Take it or leave, literally.

 

ok I accept it guys calm down...after asking from many players around I came to know that it was luck indeed that they got lf4 and bad luck for me that day...I hope I have better luck next time...The admin can close this thread.
