[GI] PvP Company designs

so during this event i noticed that you can buy the pvp ship designs in the shop and it says "but will also grant a 7% damage bonus against rival human pilots." does that mean if i have the MMO one i do more dmg to EIC and VRU even though i am VRU myself?

 

Doesn't matter which one you have.You do 7% to every enemy company player (If you are MMO you do 7% to VRU and EIC)!

 

My guess is you can't have a design from different company. That means if you are VRU then you can't fly with MMO or EIC design.

The Influence design only works against other company if you have company specific design.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

You can use the Design, but you won't receive its bonuses.

 

I have all three designs. I know that the sovereign only works on MMO and VRU and likewise for the other two designs. Also the designs have no effect on same company warring clans. my question is, if I am EIC and at war with another EIC clan can I use the MMO or VRU design to get the 7% damage bonus? I just need to get clarification on the subject.

 

I posted here on the matter, clarifying that you must share the same Company as the Design you're using to receive its bonuses.
