[TI] Radiation Zone 4-5

There seems to be a glitch in the 4-5 radiation zone on GA2... I am chasing players into the zone at the top 2-5 portal only to have them reappear, still locked, at the bottom of the screen near 3-5... very frustrating these people are using this glitch to run away...

 

lol it's one of those "tactics" from when you would type "iwantrainbows" and you would fire rainbow lasers (visually) and a different one where you would set off fireworks in a gate to get a title. the one you might have seen is where users go into radiation in the middle of the outer map and it would teleport/move them to the opposite side of the map. For example if i were to go into the center top radiation zone i would be moved to the bottom center radiation flying out of rad. call it "Tactical Withdrawal" lol

 

yes, that is what they are doing... what i wan to know is how so I can follow them and finish the kill

 

It's not glitch, it's an actual thing, just keep following them into the radiation zone and you'll be right behind them when they go to the other side. This was an Easter Egg Achievement that came out in the previous Easter Event.

Please know that the players who are actually going into radiation and coming out the other side of the map are actually following a specific coordinate on the map. So if you are going to attempt this make sure you are in the right area, as it does not work in all areas of the map.

actually it does, we've tested it, the entire 4-5 map launches you to other side if you go into rad zone.

 

Yes, what coordinates? Is it a secret or were you just wanting me to ask?

 

I just stated it was every spot, try reading all the comments.

 

I was busting the Board Admins chops... If it is indeed known, should it not be known to all? Or is it just a secret for certain parties... and it does not work in all spots... at least not for me... so saith the rad zone death...

 

well, it's not like a secret, most players should know it by now, but most don't believe it.

 

Well I have yet to test it, but will later today.
If others are doing the radiation pop out thing... then I will test to see if it works at any area of the map.
Or you can try it yourself and let me know.

It does. I just did it in all the corners and all 3 segments of each side.

This feature is intended to be an 'easter egg' as such, and was implemented into the game along side many other easter eggs during the Easter period this year. Whilst they are intended to be easter eggs (and thus not announced or listed anywhere officially), if you look around or ask somebody, they aren't too hard to find.

I have tested and it does appear that this radiation teleportation trick does work in all areas of 4-5, however that doesn't mean the radiation can't destroy you, as you have to travel a certain distance into the radiation before you get teleported to the other side of the map.
