    This test is complete facepalm, didnt even get uri/gg to build the gate so cant test. seriosly devs could start to even try do something right

    jumped to new GG, lsot conn, refreshed, cant get on -___-

    Move company or change hanger then warp, that's the only way I've found to get back into the game.
     
  5. cant change company, not done first quests, and making a new hangar did nothing :p

    EDIT: Back on, cant get in gate :p

  7. omg take the rockets away from teh NPC's, ya cant even get close to em -_-
     
  8. problem 1: the odd npc you cant lock had to die and jump back into gate
    problem 2: had to buy so many lifes cos i had to die because of the locking bug after the main 3 lifes was up the gate was gone even tho i payed for 3 more lifes
    problem 3: the gate is so boring from what i can see

  9. 1) get rid of the rockets on the Streuner Soldiers etc, the range is way too high.
    2) its a struener gate with Boss Saimons in it, might aswell do Alpha :p
     
  10. There is something wrong with it... in GG page it says 17 waves but friend of mine is already in wave 32/17.

    GG page is wrong or some waves come multiple times.

    EDIT: friend completed it and managed to get 200k, keep posting guys who have done it so we can get the idea about how high the chance is!

    Just managed to complete it, ship was hitting 50k~ on x4 and i used x4/RB-214 throughout the whole thing and it was pretty tough. Reminds me a lot of when Delta first came out, I almost died quite a few times, especially on map 5. I think the toughness is a plus side though and I'm sure, as with how it was with Delta, the more people do it the more efficient they will get at it.

    The cost effectiveness of the gate seems really nice too:
    • 15,000 U. from reward
    • 254 Streuner Soldiers (80 U. each) = 20,320 U.
    • 35 Specialists (200 U. each) = 7,000 U.
    • 5 Turrets (100 U. each) = 500 U.
    • All the extra stuff e.g sibs, siamons - no idea how much there was.
    So seems you can make just under 50,000 U from this gate and if you build gates efficiently then on average it should be costing you around 70,000 - 75,000 to build, then with the chance of 200,000 extra U. (if you have all the designs already) in the reward ... this is looking like a very, very nice gate to hide in and make uri ^^.

    The visuals in the background were a really nice touch too, would like to see more of that in any new maps ^^

Alright guys so I wasnt able to jump into the gate and see for myself - I simply came too late; anyway reading your feedback I am left with the impression that it is a hard gate and yields lots of uri....what I'm wondering is has anyone recorded the full final rewards such as whites/honor etc?

    Ill give an overall review towards the gate here.

    The gate seems ok, the first gate really what gives value for money, even a chance of profit if you own all the designs and the gate spins go your way, so that nice, ill give the rewards a 9/10.

    The gate itself it a complete bore, whilst i think its good where instead of the NPCs going to the corner they go to the healer i think that is nicely done, however i feel this gate completely lacks imagination, its just another grind to get some nice items, what i personally would really like to see is a gate what isnt actually boring to complete, i can see how much effort you put into this gate, and us players really appreciate it, but it was genuinely boring to complete it, even on the first time, i was willing myself on to get to the end and log off and go on fifa or something.

    So, to sum up.

    +Really really nice touch on the background
    +First gate to give nice rewards in comparison to money spent
    +Few new assets implemented, like the streuners running to the healer to repair, well done on that one :).

    - Very boring overall, no engaging combat, just you trying to keep your distance so you dont get hit by like a thousand rockets.
    - Very buggy, but i guess these will be ironed out, the main one was having a non-attackable NPC left in the gate.

    Overall, its decent in terms of rewards, skill design chance and big uri chance is very nice, however for some reason this gate really was a massive grind and not fun at all to do, maybe its because my main is much stronger than my test account so the npcs were taking much longer, but i dont know.

    My tips: In the future, i think you need to get ideas for a gate what wouldnt be completely boring to finish, create a gate with a good storyline, a gate where you want to jump to the next wave to see what happens next, a gate where you dont have to dangle lush rewards in front of people in order for them to want to do it.


    However, it is nice to see you rolling out content, and i appreciate how hard it is to make these things, and how much time and effort it took you to make them, this is why i dont want to sit here and slam the gate, i think its alright, and i think the effort what has gone into it is noticeable, just maybe work on making future gates less mundane.

    Doesn't give any x4, but I suppose that's a trade-off for really nice uri, especially if the chance of a design (e.g 200k U.) is anything over 25%.

    Just saying, this gate will be heavily abused by wallet warriors, and they'll hide in this gate all day. Then use the uri they made back to spam other gates (kappa or ABY combos) and then boost their rank up.

    Well, I have to say I liked the new GG, right up until I can no longer click the last StreuneR in the wave. Now just sitting and waiting for it to kill me, hoping when I go back in I can click it :)

    Reading the FAQ and the info on the new GG, and what I can see so far looks great!

  20. I want the weak one shot pew pews back.... Really though their rocket range is insane, even circling was very hard to do without being hit (while still hitting consistently) either reduce the ticket damage or the range.

    Also props to designers on the background looks sweet
