[TI] Speed loosing upgrade

Didn't find any threads about this, but it's been happening to me a lot.

I'll upgrade speed and shields a whole bunch, and play for a little. then i'll take a break and just close the window. but when i come back, upgrades are no longer working, even though they're showing plenty of time still; numbers aren't right on ship display, and speed is obviously not maxed. tried putting more promerium on them but still no effect. logging in and out does nothing as well.

eventually they'll start working again, magically.

 

It happens to me in the pirate maps.

if it's a common problem i'll take it that the devs know it.

feels sketchy to play without upgrades, hopes they fix it.

 

That could have something to do with it.

Make sure you log out correctly, because if you don't then your ship will still be active in the game for a while. Certain factors can extend this dramatically.

 

Actually, I have been all over now. It is happening no matter what map I am in. Its back and forth, full speed and then decreased speed. Its really gotten old. It seems like the boost to shields may be affected. I still need to double check that though.

 

right this problem has happened before just in another way i found out during SB last night on my server i jumped from 1-8 to 4-4 and i dropped 200k on each of my configs it was sepped over 600 hours worth and changing config and jumping port did not fix this a relog did so from when i can see is your ship is not picking up the rock you have put on Shields and speed as i was not able to test it full i did not check speed or lasers but there is a bug and when i found it i though of you're post

 

Ive also been getting this problem, but i found a few solutions that have worked for me,
1. Relog waiting out the timer, most of the times this works, but sometimes doesnt
2. Get your ship destroyed - not the best idea - but has worked every single time for me.

I usually refresh the page and it fixes it. Could be a visual glitch

 

Not too sure about the server, America East, but nothing is "highlighted" in the drop down menu, so whichever is default. Also still using the 2D client. Updated flash and have hardware acceleration. Maybe because i use linux the 3D hasn't worked. Running Ubuntu 12.04, 32 bit.

I've always just closed the window at port to log out. I'll try logging out next time.

 

USA West is very bad. Just about all maps. Don't log in using your admin account. We all know its exempt from the horrors of the game. Also don't use an admin link to the server to check.

wasn't moving fast enough was how i noticed it. refresh didn't work for me though.

 

As previously mentioned this issue has been reported.

However players that are experiencing what appears to be a loss of speed may want to try logging out of the game completely. Use the log out feature and wait until the time expires. Then log out of the back/home page ( don't just X it out). Then go to your Browser History and clear that.. and then go to your flash storage data and clear that. In many cases the issue is more with the browser.

ah I tryd relogg did nothing tryd chaging configs nothing the last thing I did was jump port and wait a sec and it will fix it

 

logging out with client instead of closing the window fixes it every time for me.

on a side note, just had the pleasure of resources hitting zero but my speed and shields never dropped.

i wasn't very compelled to fix that though
