[SC] Aegis / ring glitch?

    Is there an aegis glitch? There is a player who is nearly invincible using aegis. Yes I did pop him with help from another ship, but we were both strong ufes and popped at least once each trying to kill it. The player was bragging about a 6v1 last night where he popped them all. 2 were ufe at least in the group of six. This doesn't seem legit.

    I also experienced this in uba where an aegis just wasted me way too fast.

    Is this a glitch, or should I start flying and aegis w ring?

    Honestly its probably just Aegis + Ring combo, it's very powerful since moth cannot counter an Aegis. Done quite a lot of UBA with Aegis shortly after the ring was changed and only people who killed me were also Aegis.

    Also, what you think is the best way to run it? Havocs or hercs.

    Stay in ring during the fight or switch to moth?

    Maybe it should be nerfed, I hardly think aegis is, in theory, supposed to rock a goliath.

    I am using aegis both sides ring, speed side has ring n few lasers more lasers in drones. and full dmg side which has over 1 mil when dbl boosted. pretty nice to do around 50k x4 with ring and over 1 mil shields and all those abilities...

    Why fight a sitting ship :rolleyes:

    Dance a little all over the map and the Aegis can be beat :oops:
