[SC] DEVS: Cube respawn rate?

  1. No this isnt an idea so does'nt need moving to the ideas section, im raising a valid point for devs to answer.

    Cube resawn rates are the same as they are back in the good old days, which means since upgrades, lf4,more boosters, bio,cbs, drone designs and new ships came out we still get the same cube behaviour, why is this?

    Cubes pop alot faster now by solo players, i rarely get a chance to get on a cube now and its not good enough, the game needs updating to meet the demands of todays spec ships. Doesnt matter if the new updates were meant for the PvP aspect of the game, solo players are turning over cubes in about 2 minutes.

    I would appreciate a response on this, BP made good money from updates now lets start seeing some investment for the customers.
     
  2. Yea i kill all 4 cubes with 1 config then go to the other 2 maps and do the same less than 2 minutes a cube Sab and x-4 with diamond something needs to be done
    Notice how they always make changes that negatively affect us

    1)cool down on kami
    2)reduce kami radius
    3)reduce box uri
     
  3. Makes me wonder what forums are for, i cant approach DEVs by support so here is the best place yet i stil have no answer to my question. Just watch your money people, im cutting my payments today.

    You dont need to answer my questions, i dont need to pay for a free to play game. - Card details deleted from server and all subscriptions cancelled, respect your customers.

  4. Are you saying you want cubes to spawn faster or for more cubes to spawn at once or both?

  7. Cubes can now be killed in just under 10 seconds for some. A minute for others. Impossible for others. There's diversity. Just make cubes re spawn instantly :p. They're passive npcs found in only 3 maps.
     
  8. Lol still no answer, so glad i cancelled my premium and stopped all payments. Pushing/selling upgrades and keeping NPC's the same (after making them stronger after bio) is just plain lazy and makes for a crap experience.

  9. Heh, I know how you feel. I kept one thread alive about cube respawn time few months ago but then I just gave up when no one noticed it :D

    Maybe one day...
     
  10. DEVS this is a great idea don't ignore it and actually do something good for this game.

  12. FYI, this has now been passed up to support. Hopefully have some feedback on it soon.
     
  13. The more players on the map the faster it respawns, so if you have a CBS and players guarding it it will respawn faster.
     
  14. You got proof for this? A lot of people make claims, but they rarely have evidence to support it. I'm not trying to hate on you or anything, but this is the first I've heard of this in all my time of playing and I just get the feeling that it might not be true.
     
  15. Sadly, I cannot prove it too, but running up to a Cube (area) is quicker with more players, so I dunno. It is there - it is there, can't question it...I don't fly with a recorder - cuz of lag. DO programs all kinds of crap :confused: like chance and stuff.
     
  16. I am killing cubes all day long and its the same respawn rate no matter how much ppl in the map it dont change

  18. cubes were not meant to be solo'd, make the cube hit hard with 1 play and softer with many player. make it a challenge to pop a cube again. Also make the reward based on the number of ships hitting it. if 2 or 3 ships pop it make the reward less than if 5 or 6 ships pop it.
