Yes, we were aware of that, however lots of people were wondering if the "Turns player’s ship into a Ghost upon usage for 60 seconds" is actually significant in anyway.
So that is why I clarified it appears to just be like the wiz rockets and not an actual thing that can be used in fights to get an advantage.

Information from the German "Team Darkorbit": The Halloween event starts on Monday and lasts 2 weeks. The cooldown of the Halloween Gate is decreased to 20 hour. Yeah, the German forum will be classy.

 

that means then i can do up to 16 gates.

 

We saw the discussion earlier in the thread about the 24-hour issue, so hopefully 20 hours works a little better.

However, as Suron said, gate can now be completed 16 times in 2 weeks. Don't know if that is the result you, the developers, wanted.

 

Once every 20 hours is not bad. Most people are on during the same time daily. Having it set at 24 hours means a few days they will not be able to do it, most likely skipping an entire day after 2 or 3 days depending on their level and capabilities. We have a lot of people with family, jobs, school, etc.... While some will sacrifice much to get in every gate possible, some may still not make 14 gates. People should be happy there is a better planning opportunity.

 

While reduction from 24 to 20 hours is good, I still believe this is just a quick fix for a bad design decision. A far better (in terms of planning) and fairer (everyone will have same number of gates to do) solution would be to finish the gate once per day (from 00:00 to 23:59). But beggars can't be choosers.

 

Yea ur right it would be better, but i think its just harder to program it so 20 hrs isnt bad anyways, and we can do more of them(if you have enough time to catch it) also. so.

 

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but, will there be any sales during this Halloween event? Like there were on the P.E.T attack event, where I have bought some nice amount of equipment I have saved over 105k+ uridium in hope to get some sales.

There is drone formation sale today, first sale of the event and its useless drone formations. I saved 700k uri and still waiting for gg or booty keys sale so i can actually do some progress in this game, devs????

 

I am not interested into drone formations, I am waiting for LF-3 and BO-2 shield sales

 

Can I just ask, what is with the gate lag? I died probably 10 times just from that...

 

when the sales kick off it gives a run gives you about 1 day on 1 set of items then moves onto another item to go on sale you just have to wait

 

Everybody who play darkorbit for years must have heard rumours about lf5 and new shields etc... Few days ago I was talking with my mates and one of them said that his friend who likely worked for darkrobit team said that his friend from Darkorbit dev team are planing to add better laser weapon and shield generator, I know that this is not likely to actually be true but if they will realise that feature what you guys think? Would you like that feature?

me and a lot of my clan members seeing that the last 2 months darkorbit is helping players to become full elite more
put event which boost the progress of this

• the number of lives will be changed
• from the third wave you can drop ammo from (some) NPC s

 

its not true and people dint and some still don't like lf4s so yea no1 would like it
