[TEI] The new drone designs for £10.39

Guys, peeps in charge , I don't understand why you have not enabled us as customers if not players to get what we pay for?
The drone designs I bought ,I just loved the way they look and then only to find that I can't equip them on my havocs/hercs, so you're trying to tell me along with other players that We would have to take off the hercules/havocs only to use these drone designs that do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING??
Really am so annoyed and furious, why don't you guys atleast make us more aware that we can't equip this and that it's only for looks???????
For God's sake , this is just a waste of my money , got the drones here rotting in hangar which I bought for a tenner.

As these 2 said, wait, they mentioned 2 times there would be some things done for drones. Give em time.

 

are you talking about the beacon of hope or the halloween designs bc as far as I know u get em from the gate and to change its color it will cost uri in the store.

 

Oh just let him rant. This has been a discussion every since the beacons came out and he brings it up like it is new. Blah...

 

Most likely means the halloween ones, which the colors cost $14 for all 10 drones. Colors aren't uri.

We are aware at this time, the drone designs are not able to be used with the Hercules and Havoc's. As mentioned in the Dev Blog, they are working on something to expand the customization system.

That portion of the game is something we will just have to wait for.

As for the drone designs being useless... well that's not really the case. Players who currently have all their Hercules and Havoc may not want to trade them out for a design that will not offer them the same benefits as a Herc or Havoc. However players who do not have the Herc's and Havoc's will be able to have something more than they had before.

I think about it this way... a lower level player who has nothing on his drones now, has obtained 10 of the Silver Demon drones that he bought or got from doing the gate.

For every Demon drone design equipped: +1% Rocket damage (up to 10% for all drones)
When all available drones are equipped with the Demon design additionally -5% Rocket Cooldown (*)

This is a great addition for them at this time, and as they get their Herc's and Havoc... they will want to add them.
So hopefully the customization system will find its way to the game soon.
