[SC] Server merge

I think that we should have a server merge. For instance all the usa servers would be combined to make USA instead of having 4 different servers. the same with germany Great britain etc

im not really interested in the comments so much as the votes on the poll because that will give us a better idea on what you guys think.

 

What kind of logic is that?

 

Threads like these assume that server merges are the ONLY solution for the activity problem. When you think through a server merge, it has a few big downsides for the one positive aspect that everyone is fixed on getting.
Merges will mess up rank and inadvertently make the game more expensive.

The big negative risks that go along with server merging can easily be avoided by just thinking of an alternative that still would provide us with more activity.

 

Question for you okapi, What is the most populated server? Ga1?

 

I would want a server merge , but not a permanent server merge ,more like an event , something to change it up a bit , just merge a few severs together for a day or two just so you can fight or stuff like that on the map ( since only the turks have the clan tournaments xD ) or combine them when there is a spaceball even,tdm, etc ,

 

These always come up, and as ive said for a long time, and admins have said after me. There are too many issues that come about with it. Players losing accounts, ranks being demolished, and so on. You guys need to think before saying you want it to happen.

 

GE1 is the most populated. GA1 is the second. And the most you see is bots, 90% bots, the rest are doing nothing in the maps or in gates.
