[SC] Halloween gate

is there a set time to finish the gate as it only seems to work on a point system which is daft why not have a timer set up like the other gate is there a set time to do the gate in to become top of the list for the quest/reward at the end of teh event

No, Thats not what i'm asking i already have finished the gate twice i know all that information i have been telling everyone for the last 2 day i'm asking about the top 10 players to finish the gate in the fastest time

 

Got 292 hours to finish the Gate Event - lol - was done in 5.

 

i will say it again as none of you understand or read anything right the TOP 10 players to finish the gate the fastest get a reward i want to know as its based on a point system how fast do you have to finish the gate to get points if it was set up like normal gates there would not be a problem but big-point want to do things the hard way

 

I am a player from usa west. I really like the halloween gate. Ive done it 7 times. on 4 accounts. I have all 10 demon drones out of 3 gates on my main ship and 9 out of 2 gates on my eic account. my newbie mmo has 5 n east3 account has 4 i think so its just about if ur willing to take time

I believe the times are tracked all the time even though we can't see any ranking yet. Maybe they will tell the best times in the end or they will put them in hall of fame during the event. We can only hope, I would love to see the times too.

 

at the moment the only way to see the best time was on the quest page under challenge but only 3 people have a score 2 used outfit bug and the other 1 did the gate in 1 hour and 20mins

 

does anybody know whats happens if you abort the gate? can you start again?

 

I understand your question OP. The Top 10 fastest times get the reward. You happy now

Hijacker , but to answer your question. You just die is equal to aborting. The NPCs you pop'd will not come back just the ones that are left in the wave.

 

I'm not sure, but is possible that for ranking (with top time) you have to accept challenge? (It wrote mod. on our forum)

 

I'm curious myself. I completed the Tunnel Of Terror quest in just over 4 hours, on the leader board I have 0 points. In fact, only two players on GB1 are showing any points scored, the no. 1 position with 1243 and the no. 2 position with 2 points.... something not quite right there (or 99% of the server have messed up the quest in a big way).

Would be curious to know how the points are calculated and the times people completed the gate in.

 

I think there are two conditions that the challenge has in order to get points.

1. Complete in under a certain time, however we do not know what this time is.
2. The quicker you do it under that certain time the more points you get.

A lot of the scores on the challenge are 'bugged' right now though. I completed it solo in 1 hour 20 minutes and got 1,160 points for it. However for the first few days outfits would work for the challenge, so people got in outfits of 8 and completed the quest in a few minutes. Been told now that outfits do not work anymore and the outfit scores will be removed at some point.

on the quest page click on challenges and find the quest you can only see it if you have done the quest and you will see a list with peoples names and points next to them
