  1. Just a quick question...so im in battle and my rocket lancher cpu loads 5 rockets, fires them then the cooldown starts ( the bit where it looks like its going around a clock face) then it takes a further 3 maybe 4 full seconds to start loading the 5 rockets again. Is this correct?

  2. Yes it takes 1 second per rocket to load and then it fires.

  3. no u misunderstand me, after it fires and before it starts loading the rockets there is a delay of 3 maybe 4 seconds then it starts reloading 1 2 3 4 5, is this how it should be?

  4. This sounds like you are dealing with a lag issue. Best way to know for sure is how quickly do the cargo boxes appear from killing an NPC? If immediately then no lag but the longer it takes to materialize the more lag your computer/connection has.

  5. Are you using the Auto-Load Rocket Launcher CPU chip? If so, that chip causes the short delay before reloading. Reloading by hand is much faster.

Think of reloading by hand as a combat advantage. That chip is just to make you a lil' bit more lazy, but let you put other items in the hotkeys.

^ Correct. It's better to manually load than to use the chip in terms of reload time. On the other hand if you're not a micromanager... oops.

    PSKSUNDANCE and KilerStreak like this.
  7. how do u manually load it lol i took off rl cpu now it dont fire or load?

  8. You have to have the icon with the 3 or 5 dots and click it (located in the HST menu). You can have it in your hotbar to activate, load & fire it.

  9. When the launcher is empty the boxes are clear when you click it it starts to load (red blue or yellow) the selected rockets. As the rockets are loaded (1-5 depending on the launcher) clicking again will fire loaded rockets. If you desire to continually click this it will fire a single rocket but this takes a lot of effort to do all the time. As suggested placing this in the hot bar so you can press a number to load and fire is a lot easier than having to use the mouse to do so.

  10. I used to load manually and found it to be too much to deal with. So I equipped the RL-CPU and just let it do its thing. I find most of my delay comes from being out of range for the rockets to fire. It seems if the Rockets are set to auto fire you have to be a lot closer to the target than if not, when I deactivate the AROL and the RL-CPU my lasers seem to fire faster and from farther away from the target than with them active (tested on a BK and was getting hit with the rockets active but could get out of range of BK and lasers still fired so I took longer to kill it but did not have to rep as often).

Strictly a preference and how well set up you gaming console is. I have even thought about trying to find a JoyStick type of control to assist but then there are too many options for even a JoyStick to handle.

Thank you all for assisting the player with their question.
†BΛЯBΛЯIΛN†, As stated above, there may be a lag issue causing the delay in reloading. You can try a different browser to see if the problem gets better. Clearing cache periodically can also improve performance.

Do you have any further questions on this topic or may we close?

    Best regards,
