[SC] Beacon

What happened to the promise made in these forums by Admin saying anyone that purchased "Beacon" drone designs would be getting a small prize for doing so?

Have checked for that post made by Admin and it seems to have mysteriously disappeared?

Using the age old example of people forgetting, just the same as any government (relies on people forgetting) eg: they know 95% of people are dumb and forget very easily!

I on the other hand DO NOT forget anything!

So where is that post + are prize/reward etc?

 

hmmm, I never saw that. Only saw that they were working on making it so you could use the beacon plus herc/havoc/demon. Don't think the large font will make them do anything but get annoyed. At least that is what it does for me.

 

I like to see what I'm writing from the distance I'm sat at, the option is there for large fonts so what's your problem ?

 

You should really just change the font size options in your browser then, instead of just being constantly obnoxious on the forum.

What you are talking about in relation to a "prize" for purchasing beacons designs never existed.

 

The thing I want to know is how much was donated to charity. they need to release that information. and I hope to see pretty soon the use of that fancy designs on hercules or havoks.

 

just to point out the drones where for charity im always looking around and i have never seen anything on the topic of getting them all to win a prize in regards to the drones only one post i have seen is about been able to have becons and havoc/hurcs on at the same time

unless u can post anything on the matter please do so or stop moaning

yeah it would be nice to know how much was raised for charity

 

Just to give you an update, the UNHCR have finally got back to support and an announcement is in the process of being made. Once the announcement has been translated into all languages we will expect to see it posted in the forums. Therefore i hope/imagine that we shall see this update posted next week at some point (language translation can take surprisingly long sometimes).

Note: I should clarify further, the announcement will hopefully reveal the amount that has been raised for charity, however as far as we understand (see RickDekard's post below), there is no additional special reward for those who contributed in the charity sale.

• "Getting a prize for buying charity drones" - Maybe you're confusing the Achievement and Title that came with buying the charity drones. That's the only thing that was ever officially mentioned as a reward for purchase

• "How much was raised..." - See the comment above from @Ddraig (which appeared as I typed this)

 

Not at all RickDekard I don't get confused and stand 100% by my statement. Ddraig just basically clarified what I have already been talking about. But ty anyway!

At any rate, I have seen people state on many occasions that something was announced but not have the backup for it when complaining about it. My suggestion for the future is to print to PDF announcements and such for future use. That way when you recall something that has left the forums, you can "copy and past" it in.

I for one do like to receive prizes and don't often. I don't even get the newsletters. However, I did get the Achievement and Title mentioned in Rick's post.
