[UI] update for credit upgraders

I am a free player I cannot afford uri, im trying to upgrade my ship with credits but I cannot get past level 5 for credits, it really is ridiculous, the amount of credits it takes to upgrade, why not try and make it cheaper for credit players to upgrade aswell, I dnt see the point in playing the game as I cannot really fight other players coz there hitting 100k plus when im only hitting 3k.

 

I agree I found it hard enuff to get all my flax no chance of upgradning any time soon.

 

upgrade your skylab and use that to generate credit income then bid on shields and lasers in the auction a fully upgraded lf2 still dont compair to lf3

 

Patience and don't be in a rush to level up, set up your sky lab so that you reach at least level 10 a goli with cargo bay expantion with level 10 sky lab at a player level of 5 will earn you 1.5 million credits a time from your sky lab so if you transfer prom 2 times a day thats 3 mil in five days thats 15 mill if you bid at non peak hours items are cheaper also if you save your uri and buy all your kit from the auction your saved uri can be used to buy things that are not in the auction like your pet and shield and lf3 upgrades also only upgrade during upgrade hour and only use 100% upgrade spins never anything less you just end up looseing your uri. Dont buy all eight flax thats far to much of a waste of credits and save up to get iris from the auction. Farm box's for ammo and uri and when hunting NPC's leave the devs alone because theres always a cloaker there waiting locked on waiting for the dev to take out your shield then pop you and steal your wounded dev.

 

i never seen an upgrade hour, ever. my bad luck maybe.

 

There normaly every second friday early evenig next one is due on the 04-12-2015 you have to keep checking your back page. Lot of players wiait till the sunday before the upgrade hour and buy there uri during the MHH.

 

Check every Friday circa 7 pm.

 

I find this interesting as I am thinking about starting a credit ship account. What percentage are you trying to upgrade at? When upgrading uri equipment, I finally resolved to just doing 100% each time. Its faster, and cheaper in the long run. I really want to do it just so see how far I can get with a credit equipment ship, and to rack up seprom lasers on my main account.

Also, everyone should realize the OP may be trying to see if they can do it the credit way. Lets give those trying a hand.

 

that's probably it, i'm probably on, but miss the backpage on the right hour. been playing on and off since before there was a single ship design, and have never seen one of these, lol.

 

I upgrade anywere from 80 to 90 percent

 

It could be that at that point, you have to go higher. Its that chance factor. Hate it, and trust me, I have ran the numbers. Upgrading with credit is easily more time consuming, and slower than uri upgrading.

 

Upgrading with credits won't change anything, its is more a waste, especially since all the items that can be upgraded by credits are bad themselves, you are still better of with a lvl 1 lf3 than a lvl 16 lf2, welcome to darkorbit.

 

There is nothing more enchanting than the support a player can get from other players in this game.

 

Not ment to be negative, just realistic, what is he going to do with lvl 16 lf2? It's a waste of time and money. See it as a way to prevent him from doing so ^^

 

I am going to spin it from him to me, as I have started an account for only credit stuff. Its only a waste of time if you don't enjoy the level of fun and excitement the game will still bring to you, and you spend, how do I put this.... no money. We all know for the most part the goal for the individual of the game is to become UFE and get to the number 1 position in the ranking but that is a 5 plus year to get to.

What will he, or I, do with lvl 16 LF2? Whatever we can.

 

yeah, to be in the realm of low levels, credit upgrades should really be cheaper. best credit ship is only 285k for example. profoundly cheaper to buy tops in auction than upgrades. it's like DO made this whole credit fueled starter game but turned it into a trap to waste time, but then perhaps that is supposed to be the introduction... makes perfect sense, lol.

 

I have upped one SG3N-03A to level 4.
That brought me to conclusion that upping any credit equipment is waste of time and credits, since it costs so ridiculously much. It would just make climbing up to FE and finally UFE even more frustrating.

There just is no point in using your precious credits to upping something you wont be using in the end. Instead of doing that it's highly recommended to use all your credits to bid FE eqipments and logdisk's etc.

Currently credit upping is completely useless. And it would be good change to lower credit upping prices in order to balancing game.​

 

As you so eloquently put it "IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND CREDITS" this may be why D O made it so EXPENSIVE to do. To be honest it is a waste of Uridium to upgrade LF-3's since you will be replacing them with LF-4's but for the FREE player it will take 2-3 years of boxing and doing Galaxy Gates to get all the LF-4's they need, and this is hoping they do not get hit in the BOTTER system and banned from the game just because they are BOXING to improve their status in the game.
