  1. So two things popped up in my head today, one, fats increase damage and thus increase laser spread. Going by shield penetration theories from other scifi the wider the spread the less the penetration and the opposite is true. So in theory fats should decrease penetration, and moth and double arrow should decrease laser spread and pincer should increase it. The thinner the laser the less energy/damage lost from penetration and the thicker/wider spread it is the more energy is absorbed by the shields.

  2. i always wondered how the thrusters on a ship can fly the same speed backwards and forwards

  3. No ships in DO ever fly backwards though, they always turn the direction theyre going. The real question is how is the aegis propelled. Burrito power?

Edit: if youre talking about other fiction the thrusters have little to push once they get going and arent connected to eachother in terms of movement, so they can both hit equal speed in either direction as there is no opposition either direction

  4. oh what im talking about when you get attacked and run to port while shooting the attacker you face the enemy the whole time

lol yeah the aegis is a mystery that might never be answered

Oh true, maybe it's a similar mechanic to how the strikes in bsgo slide while facing any direction, whatever mechanic that is LOL. Maybe the engine is really just exhaust and there are hidden thrusters all over the ship.

  6. You know I was wondering, do we beam back to base before we pop or do we use escape pods?

  9. Avatar or something? Or maybe like dark matter where they send clones to places while the base body stays behind at the base? The transporter thing seems a bit unlikely, as the distances are vast, especially say in a galaxy gate
