Design with the bonus are Hercules(blue), Havoc(red), Demon(glowing red) so you probably will have those drones without any cosmetic.

 

Well that just sucks, I like the look and stat of my Demon drones.

 

OH, if i knew they would add this soon i would've bought the frost drone designs

 

D O will want to take every dollar you want to spend so they will be up for sale again when they do the final release of the slots.

I thought the Demon Drones were classified as Cosmetic, if so, you could fly DD with a Havoc Stat. It is OBVIOUS that D O is going to have to let us know more about what classification each design is so everyone knows what is what.

I predict the FORUMS are going to be flooded with QUESTIONS/COMPLAINTS about the 2 slots and why they have added them.

My thought is the current changes will be seen and if you use Cosmetic the color will change to that of the Stats, so you could end up with a Blue or Red Demon Drone instead of Orange, but this is assuming the the DD is a cosmetic.

 

I actually like the idea of having a cosmetic drone. That means paying players only get cosmetic benefit over free players

 

Herc, Havok, and Demon are all stat designs where others such as Beacon, Frost, Skull, Reaper, Bat, and any others that I have happened to miss are cosmetic. I know it was said in the past that stat designs would not qualify for cosmetic slot, but will you see them if you don't put a cosmetic one in place? I imagine people will want to display Havok while using Hercs and vice-versa just because they will think they should. Yet another item that we will have to wait for answers on. There is also the silver demon but that's kind of boring. Personnaly, I think the demons should have been VRU green. VRU are always treated as the step-child.

Not really because a lot of free players farmed the ToT and got the useless but cosmetic drones.

 

well I was busy with school at that time so I didn't get a chance to do those. But i guess free players also do like good looking designs although i'm not one of them.

 

Some interesting stuff in relation to Carnival 2016 event.

There will be a series of drone designs, some of which can be obtained in special ways.


Designs:
Enigma_1 (Green) - Give your drones mysterious obscure look with this new visual design design. Aquired during the 2016 Carnival.
Enigma_2 (Red) - Visual design for drones. Rewarded for successful Kronos Galaxy gate runs during Carnival 2016.
Enigma_3 (Orange) - Visual design for drones. Rewarded for successful UBA season during Carnival 2016.

Phantom 1 - This drone design will give your drones a unique look in green.
Phantom 2 - This drone design will give your drones a unique look in red.
Phantom 3 - This drone design will give your drones a unique look in orange.

The Phantoms appear to be sold as packages.

No images or further info about the event itself available right now.


There is also a new inventory category for pet designs, unknown if this has anything to do with the Carnival event or if its just preparation for pet designs later down the line.

 

Interesting find there.Since there would be designs to overlay our boosting designs im wandering if the drone icons above our ship would still indicate which boosting design is equipped by the existing color code.

 

Any details about Crafting system ?

When we have an idea we'll let you know, but we do not have any new information yet

 

so does this mean to get 10 full red designs u would need to do kronos 10 times? or once and u get all 10? lol confused

 

About the crafting system, will you guys be open to a couple of ideas from players? Or are most of the ideas already consolidated.

 

DO probably wants to maintain authority.

 

when the update hits the test server there will be a feedback page to report bugs and maybe they will take and ideas u will just have to wait and see
