Tips
Hitac boxes can't be collected with pets so don't use pet for that.
Graphics should be turned down
It spawns 3 times an hour
DON't collect box after hitac ends for the day or it gives nothing! This happened to me!
Hitac minions are like barracudas and explode for 100k damage.

Analysis
Based on the high uri and low credit ratio, the hitac was clearly made for above fe.
The new changes made making main ship drop 10 boxes and whoever gets minion kill gets letter box incentivizes people to shoot hitac and not each other or else they may lose their chance at receiving rewards.

 

wait how is cargo theft not an option? as far as I know its everyone for them selves but yeah I like the rewards but the ice design I wont spend my uri on them dont like they way they look um but yeah and about the points idk bc you need to wait for the event to begin to actually see how things are going done bc it could be hard so.

 

well like you can't take a spearhead and try to get to the cargo before someone else does since the cargo goes to who gets the kill or deals the more damage. I guess we'll have to wait unfortunetly.

 

Read the FAQ.
"· The Hitac will drop a box for each of the 10 players that have dealt most damage to it. Each box contains a capsule.

· The Hitac Minions will drop a letter for the Puzzle with a 100% chance. Those drops are visible only for the player who kills it."

 

the drops are only seen by the top 10 players who do the most dmg on it lol how is that fair ufe will just destroy the competion with there dmg ill have to be sep all the time to match there dmg lol idk about this ill give it a 1 day try.

 

Yup, definately a UFE event... You know, like all the rest...

 

I keep seeing everyone say all is for UFE, well i wonder if everyone starting as UFE? We meaning us UFE have spent the time and maybe money on the game why should we not have a little advantage over other smaller ships? Considering it was that way for all of us when we stated playing DO and when i started we never had protection like they have now so quit crying. Also a bit of advice if you go in a big group of smaller ships and attack one part of the Hitac the rewards will go to someone in that group .

 

One thing - I doubt UFEs need 30 lf4s....

 

ok i'm not ufe but i joined a ultramongry ufe war boss clan on my server and I was able to get letter f and t and oh boy even a capsule at the end!.

 

I'm guessing when u started it wasn't possible to shoot new comers over 250k though ? when I started we where lucky to hit 40k max now its just stupid , no wonder theres a shortage of new players on servers , as for protection theres ways around that mines still hit said player , smbs and pet will get you the kill if need be.

 

ok well now i got 2 capsules and 3 letters. I'm just a fe aegis with 2 lf4s. I could definitely see under fe find this event near possible but fe can do this event albeit difficulty. Before the event started, I was 28% damage now i'm 42% damage on my drones.

It'd be really nice if someone could find out the spawn rate of hitac though.

Sure they do, you know, for their 3rd hanger...

 

I think the point PSK~SUNDANCE is making is that all the time the UFEs gain rank points and benefits when they knock all the smaller players from Events, whilst shooting/ popping FE+ and below to complete their other quests (as in xuhu99's post) there will be an even greater differential between the haves and the dont have yets ... I have been here 6 years now and my ship is not yet UFE (I dont shoot noobs unless they shoot me first as I would like to see the game last a while longer)..
As *MOONGLOW* points out things have changed... and moreover so has the 'Game Market' .. nowadays the Web is 'awash' with other games to play and if we, the longerterm and stronger players, abuse the power that we have by just popping noobs for fun, and quests of course , we will find that, in the end, this game becomes a 'curio' or 'cult' game that is only played by us/the oldtimers

Might I add that the rise of the MCC has given the UFEs more ways to depopulate the game by using their inCo members to locate and after redlock also help with the kill

it's mostly the same guy popping me. By this point I actually think under fe could do hitac with dedicated effort.

 

That is because you keep respawning on the map instead of going back to base to repair.

 

Whoops, how did I miss replying to this yesterday? While I know about the time and maybe money, its not why not have a little advantage, as you have a great advantage. I am running 2 accounts on one server, this one being my noob for life and most fun account and the other one being as powerful as you can get without drone designs and LF4's. I used to watch the mess going on during hitac before with my veteran account, and after a while you say, whatever and move on. The little guys getting popped off the hitac left and right, like during any other event, icy comes to mind. Its not crying when we say UFE are running, or ruining it; its called the truth. You don't like it and cry as you see something posted that may apply to you. Personally I would say it must apply to you. At any rate, now Hitac is one of the events I have in the top 5 of don't even bother. I see players that just started yesterday trying their hand at it and getting batted off like flies. If you are proud of that kind of control, then bully for you. At some point those noob players will catch a clue, or at least a hint and buzz off. Hopefully, they will not buzz off the game for good but there are lots of threads about new players not sticking around past day one. LOL, there are now threads about players not sticking around after playing for years...for the same issues.

ok. While i'm at it I figured strategies for people around fe level. I use x1 and shield config for minions because I just need to lock the kill and just last until a ufe finishes it off. So far pet won't collect hitac boxes. Hitac mothership is something i'm still analyzing a strategy for since fe deal less damage than ufe.
