  1. Myself and other people I know who do not have premium, well I dont have it on this account, previously have had adverts come up when we log in with the promise of 100 uri if we watch but the option to skip after 5 seconds if we do not.

That now is not the case, and I am unhappy for two reasons.
There are currently ads coming up for anti smoking, now I do not smoke but find them upsetting as I have had family members die from lung cancer and would much prefer to skip the ads than be upset by them

Secondly the length of some of the ads is ludicrous, no longer 60 seconds or shorter, some are coming up at 4 minutes long and one I had yesterday was a 20 minute infomercial, that even when I just logged out came back up as soon as I logged back in and couldnt get past it to actually play the game.

Now I realise that BP wants to monetise the game but seriously this is just stopping me from playing the game completely. Now I may not currently have premium on this account but like many others I do have premium on others, but if i end up switching to another game then I just will stop spending on all accounts.

So play fair BP, sit down with your AD suppliers and work out a code of conduct for them, set a max length of ad, and ensure the skip button is always available, or soon there will be even less players on servers that are already struggling. And make sure that when ads are watched in skylab players actually get the rewards, certain ones never give you the 45 minutes they are supposed to.

use adblock plus from chrome add ons or some other ad block. It just skips the ad and I still get 100 uri.

  3. While good advise for a computer owner, its not always viable for everyone, and does not address the issue.

Some of the ads are quite long, such as the 20 minute infomercial. I have seen marathon ads that run 6 hours if unhindered. Players that have to use a library computer may not have the option to skip the ad, or much less get adblock put on so it will be auto skipped. Some don't have the know how, and lets not bash them either. I spend a lot of time cleaning virus's and other mess from neighbors computer, one of which has to come to me to install anything anymore just because I am sick of cleaning off the mess.

We really need someone to review these ads that are really just pulled in from YouTube. While some may be entertaining to some, or even informative, they can be quite bothersome. They are long, contain bad language, and for those just trying to get a transfer in before lunch is over, can be just plain frustrating to deal with.

I for one enjoy the free uri you get from them but get super frustrated when I hear a word in the video that would get us banned in chat. I have reported several of them to support. They normally disappear after a few days, and I am not sure if it is because it was reported or the contract on the ad ran out. I would rather loose out on the uri than listen to the mess. The OP is correct about them needing a code of conduct. If one was in place and enforced, there would be less problems.

yeah Bigpoint is definitely responsible for the ads it presents and BIgpoint should be the ones solving this problem and not us the player. Unfortunately Bigpoint just cares about $$ and just wants you to pay to skip ads so I think all the bad words and super long videos were intentionally there to make you pay. Since that's the current situation with Bigpoint, you have no choice but to solve it on your own unfortunately. I've been able to get chrome add ons on my school and library computers because add ons don't require admin permission or downloads. I'm not sure how it works on other devices but that's all i can say.
