AMEN TO THAT! hitac is the worst event d,o has ever done. they shouldve know only the heavy hitters could participate in it

  2. How about if you want to attack a cube, icy etc... you lose the shield altogether? because someone could just go get popped 5 times and leech cubes all day..

Another issue is how would you stop friends from popping each other 5 times just to get the shield?

No I say let the shield stay, I've been popped off Icy's, Cubes and BBK's after dropping their shields by not only enemy company players but same company players as well.

If they need the shields that bad I say let them have it.
Make it last all day instead of just an hour.

This idea will help more than harm in my opinion, at the very least it will allow the weak and strong to farm in peace.

I also believe 5 is too many times to pop for this item to benefit from, 3 should suffice if the one destroying you is from an enemy company.

  4. All I can say is give me five all day LOL :p

    Thanks 4 the favor o_O

  5. That's one issue I find hard to fix, the whole leeching issue that comes with it...

As for popping each other, hmm...
How about only letting that player shield the other only two times? After that, the default "pushing" will be applied.

Yea, there are people who actually want to farm, but others who just want to leech and crap, but there would be too much negativity from me, and others who would want to solo them, rather than share.

You might have to limit it to lower maps to appease people who are worried about their cubes being leeched.

  7. just make it simpel... new players will recive a dron formation, early in game, this formation, do orther players cant shot you down, only if you shot on them first.

after lvl 11 - 16 you will get a new one, and the old one will stop.. the new one to so only pleyers with the same dron formation can kill you.
and still if you shot on any one, the can shot you back.

you will get does dron formation in quest

really simpel to understand, and really simpel for DO to make.

  8. Kinda has to be for all maps.
There's a point you get to where it's not as profitable to PvE in lower maps, and it'd be better in upper maps.
Meh, still have to deal with cube leechers.

  9. i dont know what you mean with cube leechers..
but if you mean people shot cubi alone, then i will say.. if you can shot cubi alone, you are strong enough to lose the drone formation.

well cubes have always meant to be 'leeched' because they were created to be shared npcs. Maybe just take it off x-6. x-7 still has bks, lks, etc just not the cube. Players have to be a certain level to get to uppers so they won't be liberators, leos, bigboys, etc.

If someone is so weak that they need the shield, then make it so they cant shoot shared npc's. they can bk if they want.

  12. Forget the 'high' 5....I see a  high ten!..push over

Hell no, stop with the restrictions.
This thing is needed for events that everyone gets popped off of by the strong few,

If you have a problem not shooting players that are trying to farm in peace, just say so and stop hiding behind these weak reasons like leaching.

  14. Yes, but some of us will not use it, in order to stay out of PvP forever.
Well, the point of many of the shared NPC events (Icy, Hitacs, etc.) is to mostly benefit the noobs so they can get stronger.
What can the UFE do? Pop them for their own quests. But this benefits the PvPers a bit too much.
Also, the Hitac. Why do the UFEs do them? They already have every gun slot filled and upgraded, it's completly unfair to just let them keep going and not let anyone else on them. Popping enemy players off? Yea, I understand that, but helping the enemy pop your own company? That's too far.

Cubes & Ubers are the only NPCs I'll have restrictions for. Icy, Hitacs, etc, no, no restrictions on them.

I think if you are level 15 or below you should get PvP Protection by then most players will get to know the game better and they will be able to protect them self after they reach level 16 +. But PvP protection only works at your homes maps only and about cbs if enemies build one in your company map and you go near cbs, the cbs can shot you down. SOMETHING LIKE THIS WILL BE BETTER BECAUSE NEW PLAYERS DON'T GET CHANCES TO KNOW THE GAME AND ALL THE STRONG PLAYERS TOO STRONG FOR THEM##

  19. I like the thought of giving protection to newbs, but there is a limit to where they should be protected. I like the idea of drone formations giving the protection and being replaced but the first formation is good till level 12 (access x-8 map) and then the new formation good till level 16 (access to enemy x-1 map) and the shields being applied have to be set for a person being killed while defending themselves, if they died because they attacked first it would not count as a kill, basically if the player is actively PvP'ing they do not get any protections, but if they are PvE'ing and being attacked then they qualify for the protection (but only in their home maps). The players less than FE (equipment, Lf-3's and BO-2's, and Pilot BIO, less than full ship LF-4's e.g. goli < 15) are the only ones who get the protection as the UFE do not need the protection as they are usually the ones attacking the newbs anyway. This idea is basically implementing some balance to the imbalance created by implementing the UFE player, which has been requested in several threads for quite a while now.

I dislike the idea all together. If you're getting shot more than 5 times in one day, you're either playing above you're level (in maps you are too weak to go into) or you have p*ssed somebody off so bad, that they're after you.
The idea has way to many ifs and buts, and timing counters, that'll introduce more lag into the game.

A better solution is to have a demilitarized zone around event targets, such as hitac, or the spaceball, so that everybody can join into events. Limit the amount of CBS a clan can have to 1 or 2, so people don't have a 40-50% boosters anymore. And fix a couple of other inbalances that have been know in the community since years.

And to counter any "yeah, I guess you're UFE" comments and such.
I'm not UFE, but getting there. Been playing for a couple of years, and compared to when I started, beginners now have it easy.
