Calling me closed minded. I am not the only one on the forum who has a problem with R-310s being in the boxes. I think you have just insulted about 3 other people with that remark. The R-310s are just the tip of the iceberg as I am looking at the event as a whole. Like I said if you are happy with the rewards then enjoy the game stop trying to have a go at me for having an opinion. I however are looking at the big picture (something a closed minded person cannot do). I am not complaining just giving my opinion to the event. Over the years the boxes, event and standard have decreased in decent rewards. Having better box rewards or a better chance of getting something good out of them would make the event better for everyone and could encourage people to buy doubler.

 

I have over 1million 310s stored up from these event boxes, i'd like to see something else please. Same rewards get boring after years of them...

Too bad you can not post a response properly to be quoted. But even newbs do not use R-310 rockets if they can get away from them, so these rockets are useless to even be in the Special Bonus Boxes.

They have not had decent items in the Special Boxes since the Kuiper Gate Release Event and with so much hate and discontent over their mess up on that Event and subsequent corrections have alienated a ton of players from the events period. Seeing the first Event mission and the difficulty to complete it I am not even interested in participating in this Event either. Too bad D O wants to re-hash the same garbage Special Bonus Boxes for every Event is just lazy on their part. I agree they need to increase the rewards and change the items to match the level of play they have created in TODAYS GAME instead of the game we played 5 years ago.

 

Doesnt mean people are ufe they need to pay 1 mil uri to get something or always use their wallet.
Why always they create something new it must be for $$$. And why people when they say 100k they always mean 70k cause rebate and prem is a MUST. I would like to enjoy a game atleast for once and not to pay for everything. Ik they want money, but doesnt mean those "useless" drone designs should be for 15 $. They already removed JPA so im just wondering what do they still need from us ? :/

 

A little calculation, which is based for a player who want to earn much Uri (my second goal of the game), I want to show, that RSB is too expensive:
You shot normally with LCB at a Cubikon, but now you use additionally with RSB until the 2K are used up. How many additionally Uri with the additionally Cubes you can shot now?
(You have Seprom, alien hunter, no miss chance, a damage design with dmg booster, LF4)
I calculate with ONE LF4, because if you use a full equipped ship, you used up the 2K RSB faster. Both variants will have the same RSB prize.
((7*200*1,6*1,12*1,1*1,05)/3000000) *1024Uri*2000
RSB deals 7 time more damage than LCB
LF4 damage
Seprom
alien hunter
damage booster
damage design
hp+shield of the Cube
Uri of the cube
amount of RSB

The result: 1978,138.... Uri for 2000 RSB. I know many of the D O players use RSB only for hunting, but "profit-making" is the most important thing, I don't care about honor.
Adds the 3500 Uri reward, you finally have around 5478 Uri for an epic difficult quest. In this needed time for the quest I could earn more Uri. That's the reason why I don't do this quest (or buying RSB).

Ok, but what you should do during the event, because this things are profitable?
Buying the drone designs:

• additionally feature without advantages
• no profit, because no more damage

Killing the Disguisor NPC:

• much Uri
• not worth to killing the strongest variation of this NPC, Cube deals less damage
• but in the lower maps it's very nice, small player, which won't can kill a Cube solo, can kill this weaker NPC now

Collecting carnival boxes:

• boring rewards
• exception: un-profitable WIZ rockets, so funny , but they will not help you too much...

The only profitable thing I can do is killing the Disguisor NPC in the lower maps, but I can not do this all time.

Conclusion: It's a little lame event.

 

what quests that ive got no quests showing after yesterdays one ?

 

After "sitting out" the Hitac event, as I am not one of the " Cho$en", I was looking forward to a Good event.
So far I am not impressed. The 3 quests in a 2 week event are a joke.
Come on DO, you have had a year to make this event better than last year's.
I have been playing for 5 yrs. and my playing time is going down every day/week.
Even boxing is way less rewarding than it used to be, "$pecial events" included.
Either fix it or put it down!

Isn't it ironic that that after we just said how bad the release for drone designs are they will release designs for pet and call it successful launch.
Terrible management and its clear that this feedback is just used to alleviate the players stress. DO will not fix the mechanics of the game. Its like a money scandal. Keep going until it back fires big time. Like a massive loss in the player population or more depopulated servers.
Once again Gl with better events.

 

After seeing posts with the same concerns regarding poor choices made by the dev team and D.O as a whole time and time again. I have come to the conclusion that they must be doing it on purpose. I believe that they are trying to get as many people to quit as they can, so when they close this game they will have fewer people to worry about. The standard of the events and have gone down hill so much. I mean who thought that 3 event quests in a 2 week event was a good idea. It feels like they just gave up at 3 so they could get home early. But I bet you can buy the "well needed" drone designs all week long.

They need to sort out the events that they currently run, instead of bringing in new ones just so they can sell their unnecessary, over priced unwanted rubbish. I also agree with LeNerfz, that they set up this feedback post so people can vent their frustration and time again nothing gets done or said. They need to get back to basics where they should start giving out alot more to the players to get them to stay. Have an event where the LF4 goes in the shop and upgrades are cheaper. Because before LF4s and upgrades where introduced it was a good game. I am sure people would buy uri for them instead of some naff drone designs. Also with the LF4 event lets have some awesome event quests with tasty rewards and some even tastier bonus boxes. There is so much that they can do but for some reason they do very little and recycle the same old stuff and call it epic.

 

It will hide what your drones look like but all people have to do is look at the {llllZAllll} above your ship and see what color it is and they will know. also since many people have drones disabled it really does NOTHING

 

NOT GOOD EVENT,I DONT LIKE.NO POINT TO COLLECT BOXES ..I BETTER SHOOT MOBS HAHA.SO NEXT TIME MAKE GOOD EVENT NOT LIKE THIS..(go on maps and check,no one collecting your boxes)better make event like this ,event for 1 week all mobs are x2 strongest and rewards from all mobs x2 =And free gate .

 

Fix the lag and the backpage lag its hard to play.

 

I am not getting any credit towards the 50,000 damage to the lordkias. I have tried this on a few servers and with several ships. I thought maybe the progress was just not being shown, but I clearly scored enough damage with one ship to reach 50,000 and still no effect. This makes this quest totally unfinishable. Is this just me? Or are others having the same problem?

The quests were limited to 3 because they are long and require more than a day to finish one (if you can do it).

The FEEDBACK was created to prevent from having all of the complaints being made in individual threads. So in that sense it is better to have the feedback thread instead of the individual ones. However, as stated they do not seem to take anything to heart of what is said here as they continue to create Event Quests that are impossible to do unless you want to commit your entire play time to doing the stupid quests.

Yea, why buy stuff for others to see, the LAG created by showing your drones is just stupid to do. Just a waste to create cosmetic designs that have to be bought, as rewards or fund raisers are one thing but to put money in D O's pocket is another. Why would someone want to do Kronos Gate to get ONE design and not be able to get them after the event is over. Oh that is right do 14 gates to receive 1 design, a farmer could do these in one day, but then the Kronos Day was only here for one day not the entire event like they said it would be. Another failure on D O's part.

If you are killing them it does not count and cancels out the quest, unless they made a change after the complaints from the first day. Others were getting the damage and when the Lordakia ran away someone would hit it and when it died the quest canceled as you could not kill the Lordakia or you would fail the mission.

 

Yes I agree with the fact they they set up this thread so every ones complaints are all in one place. I think they knew full well people would complain about this event. We can comment on the event to each other, but in the eyes of the DO team this thread is just a way to keep the complaints out of sight and out of mind. Its not as if they read these posts, if they did some chances would have been made already or at least one of them would have put their own post in to explain what they are doing or to at least acknowledge that people are once again not happy with the poor attempt of making an event. Roll on the PET design event I say LOOL.

As I said before, when damaging lordakias I see no damage recorded. Yes I know the quest is cancelled if you actually kill one, but that is not what I said. I would not have been able to damage enough of them to have made the 50,000 damage points if I had actually killed any! The quest was not cancelled until I gave up and decided they had just written another bug. I shall have to contact Support (FWIW) and see what they say. I find it hard to believe multiple ships on multiple servers all have this same problem.

 

Did you shoot lasers or rockets?

 

I shot lasers and rockets (separately) in 2-2 and 2-5, and it recorded no damage.
