[SC] LF4 Day not fair

lol 80 keys and 4 LF-4's , 7 lf3s , 5-6 bo2s and possibly 3-5 speed generators. It's all luck mate.
The last Helix LF-4 day got myself 17 Lf-4s from less than 200-250 keys
I hope you get Lf4s in the next helix lf4 day mate

 

The mistake we all made was to build the Apis drone as soon as we had all the Blueprints to do so I currently have 3 Zeus prints but have another Apis ready to be built (searching for Zeus parts on Zeus day) and only have 9 LF-4's using several thousand keys.

Everything is available on Zeus Day just supposed to be more Zeus parts available than normal. The Designs seem to be only with the Special Boxes (Red, Blue, & Gold).

Glad to see someone benefiting from the keys I bought, I stopped buying the darned things as I never seem to get anything I am trying to get. The chance needs to be changed to a percentage, where a person will get an average of 1 in 25 keys or whatever D O wants to make it, instead of being strictly LUCK.

 

Today 2/28/2016 I used 150 keys and only got 3 lf4.

 

Yep it is possible to get skill designs from green booty boxes. They are just extremely rare. Harder to get than lf4s. I got Venom and Spectrum from green booty.

Just chance and luck.

There was one time where I got 600 keys and the first 200 keys didn't get any lf4 (it was Helix lf4 day too). But I continued to pick booty (just normal green booty) after the event stopped (which is not advisable).

This helix lf4 day, bought 35 keys with uri and got 1 lf4.

Doesn't matter which map you pick lf4 on.

You can get lf4 from booty dropped from npc (my very first lf4 I got was from a annihilator in 5-2).

I just box and pick booty in b-maps. BUT even though I got most of my lf4 from one map it doesn't meap that that map is lucky. That's just confirmation bias. I just do it as there's more uri spins etc... to be earned while finding booty.

Luckiest I've ever been was on a 2-4 (which doesn't mean anything either, so don't all go rushing to 2-4 ). Got 3 lf4 in a row (kinda, last one a bit iffy, can't really remember).

Just keep at it. You will get lf4.

 

Today i spent 25 keys and noticed that i got nothing (actually i got 6 apis parts, but i already have apis sooo).. anyway, before spending all of my keys, i thought i would just keep them for the next even (probably zeus day). My point, if you feel sooo unlucky today (like me) dont spend 500 keys! there will be another helix day or zeus in 2 weeks tops!

 

YES go for Gold boxes, because they do have LF4's in them. I'd say do Zeta gates to earn keys, but if you're in a hurry and buy the keys only open gold ones till you have Zeus drone cheaper, then go for X2 LF4 days (green bootys).

and YES there are skill designs in gold and green boxes, but to me it seems the odds went down for them since the new auction system came out, where you can now get skill designs for credits (jmo tho).....late to the thread

 

Random...chance...random...chance and so on. Enjoy your chancy random goodies that are not LF-$s.

 

It is ALL CHANCE and if you do not have the Luck O' the Irish you are not going to get what you want. And if you have not built your Apis drone do not until you are ready to build the Zeus as you will get Apis parts more than Zeus until it is full again. May not even want to build Zeus until you have all of your LF-4's you want so those chances are also applied to LF-4's instead of trying to build another drone you do not need (unless you forget to repair them).
