[UI] Compensation Gifts

Honestly this is one of the only games I have been in that doesnt compensate for down time or other issues experienced on the server. People have not been able to log in for a day due to DO Technical issues. Other Internet games give some sort of Compensation when this happens. It certainly would make a lot of players happier if that happened.

 

Compensation is given from time to time depending on circumstance's when it it is given out an OP is made, you cannot expect Compensation for every glitch or DDoS attack that happens.

 

There have been other posts dealing with this issue (DDoS attacks on servers) and the OFFICIAL response was when (and IF) the attacks have been dealt with and no longer affecting the game, D O will look into what compensation is (should be) offered for the loss of playing time or "Bonus Boosters", but as it is the entire server not being able to access, it is unlikely there will be any compensation as there was no unfair advantage gained as no one was able to do anything during this time of attack.

Exactly. Possible compensations are decided case by case, mostly depending from severity and how many players are having the issues.
