[GI] Global America 5 Wont Load

It has taken several attempts to get past the daily award box that covers the landing page, and for the last hour, clicking the start button does nothing. I can open the Shop, but can not click on anything in it. The galaxy gate page opens everything around the borders, but not the actual gates in the middle box of the page. So the background of the game is working awesome, but everything that actually has a function does not work. I can not click the start button from the home page, but can click it from the shop. When it opens it is just a black page, no background, no nothing.
In my ts, there are others from other parts of the world outside the USA that are currently in the game, playing, and having no problems. I'm in the south east USA. Is there a server problem for my area? This issue seems similar to the DDoS attacks, but when that occurred I could not access the game at all beyond the login page, and it would not login at all, so this is slightly different.
I have cleared cookies/cache, and even installed a different browser, and so far nothing is resolving this for me. Any suggestions?

 

DO mods claim they they were hit with a DDOS attack. They claim to be working quickly to resolve the issue. What exactly their definition of ''quickly'' is nobody knows. Rest assured it will resolved whenever DO feels like it. It also appears that the mods are closing any and all threads that mention the problem. By doing so, with out posting an official announcement this can mean only one thing.... that they simply dont care

Been trying to get into game for hours now..Having same issues, can log in, and beyond that I cant do anything. Been on forums and no response from CM's, or anyone for that matter. but it would be nice to know something, anything as to whats happening. Being patient is one thing, getting no answer is quite annoying.

 

Get used the ''no response'' DO isnt known for its communication or customer service skills

IF they were really concerned about the DDoS attacks they would be working on making the login to the game a Secure Login and need to have a downloaded access to the server. This would also alleviate a bunch of the bots that are currently being used in the game.
