[TI] Visual Upgrade

Well this upgrade is like solid eye's picture on technical announcements it's pixelated and is horrible.
Steps to solve:
Settings -> Display drag graphics quality slider to max and fixed until you jump portal then resets back to muddy pixelated display.
Redo above steps only this time tick off the advanced box and move slider to max again then back to minimum and fixed. Jump portal and reverts again.
Redo with second procedure again and un tick the retro and the settings save and stay during jump. Which defeats any new improvements.

Why is anti-aliasing even used by game developers it only causes severe lag.
You can run every thing on high graphics and turn down to low anti-aliasing and no or little game slowness and jerky game play.

 

Well I feel like I wasted some money. Just put some on and they put this absurd
"LIVE VISUAL EFFECTS"

The question is how to get rid of it? Don't like it, don't need it and its a problem
change the setting allot.

BAD IDEA. get rid it. Are you going to refund my money I put on. Because I'm not
going to do much here if I have to reset the setting every time I log in.

 

Go to settings and un check the box that says retro

I do agree. I also wonder if it might be why the Spring Event was so lame.

 

What a complete waste of time, No event on July 4th but WE celebrate April fools.........................wow....on US server............

 

APRIL FOOLS DAY........ its april fools day on darkorbit EVERY DAY "what will be glitched today" no wonder people dont play any more...

 

Retro Mode actually looks pretty good after the FOOLS DAY Joke was removed, YES the ship is Pixelated and looks funny but the ship is actually distinguished as a ship instead of a glob of blocks.

 

Wait till April 2 and see what happens - I did nothing, but box and it RAN ssmmooootthh

DO also ran a 'Helix Event' before the handover to the other Co...gonna have to learn their name...anyways, would have gotta(en) x4 uri - hahaha a fire sale that was not to be fooled.

I hope they make you do DO birthday gate in retro mode if it happens...dang employee turnover(s).

As I can see you did not appreciate the April Fools graphic joke.

this matter should be resolved now if not you can go into the settings to turn it off.
