my friend told me that dont do gates save them there is event on monday thats gives double reward for gates is that truth ?

there is meant to be an event that gives x2 rewards but as for the date is not set yet

The event is the event and it MIGHT include this new type of GG day that gives double rewards from gates. And I stress the word MIGHT. Also the double reward day is still just unofficial information and we don't know for sure if it is ever implemented

 

k just throwin this out there just a theory might be wrong but add 1+1 =3 right just a guess anyway apr 12 th is yuri day holiday first man to float in space now okapi post also says clearly at midnight april11 which will make it april waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for it the 12th of april uris day but hay i wouldnt listen to me i thought i was gonna be rich and famous and live at the playboy house BOY was i wrong ....

No, it's a result of people getting confused or misinterpreting information.

The first time the 'double rewards event' was mentioned was by me in the UNOFFICIAL: DarkOrbit Revealed and on a facebook page. The problem was that one of the other things, the Masque Sale Event, mentioned in that post I have linked and the facebook post had a start date of the 11th which people misread as being the double reward day would be the 11th.

Absolutely everything in that thread is unconfirmed and work in progress that is taken from the test servers and posted on the forums for everyone to get an idea of what might be coming. The dates of things can change whenever or they can not be released entirely.

That rumor then spread around all the players with people saying "I heard from X that Monday is double reward days in GG" etc, which is simply not true because there was never any date associated with double reward days in the thread.

Subsequently the event that did have the 11th as its start date on the test server has not been activated either, further proving that things can be changed and altered and nothing is actually official unless you see it in the Official Announcements or from the Darkorbit facebook or twitter pages.

 

Man this dbl reward GG day work for DO the rumor mill churn out enough info and hype i actually succumb to it and spend $50 on mega last night the good thing is i build 10 gates with that uri so here's hoping i make it all back and more

 

Rumers are murder. DO hardly ever puts out information for things coming up in time for people to prepare so when a rumer pops up, people jump. I think they like seeing reactions to information in the unofficial thread. Since I play on both sides of the pond, I usually have a better chance at seeing what is up for the next day and can decide how bad I may want to do mega on my main. So far, I have not wanted to in almost a year. This double, is interesting though as I really need to crank out some gates.

 

Build gates on discount days, do them on Kronos Days (the ones that require more than ONE part at least), buy Uridium to keep over 1000K ready to spend on Flash Sales in SHOP, spinning G G's or Upgrade Bonus Hour. Buy Rebate when they have a SALE you want to spend Uridium on ($2.49 USD is cheap for the Uridium you will save for the week). IF the SPECIAL DAYS do happen then (and only THEN) plan on doing what is required for the REWARDS, but not until then.

 

sorry about tht okapi32 what i was trying to say is if you look at all the little bits aand peices if it did happend it points to the 12th everything pretty muched happend except these gate weekend or what ever excuse me take tht back we just went throuh red weekend but i know they got stuffed planed for the 12th ya can look at game board to see tht but as for okapi saying anything he hasnt dint mean to put words in your mouth i hate it when people do it to me but i just read and try to follow oakapi post he trys to keep the do community informed and updated which thk you for that boss i know you gotta get big headaches lol and it sad cause in this game seams like guys you do more and listen to us more then the guys getting rich thk you and to to you forum duke HELPMEHELPYOU instead of belittleling us nubs you part with good info on how to proceed what would really kill this game if the likes of you guys left it

 

It's no problem, it was definitely my fault in part for now making the information clearer, should really have separated out the information into different posts to and made clear that they were not connected.

I was also just explaining the whole situation to LiveBoy, I should really have just quoted his original post - I didn't mean to say you were lying in relation to the post I quoted, my bad.

B they will announce it during a event ?
