[GI] Double rewards

Everyone settle down before Okapi32 stops posting the information he sees here.

IF you read the O A there is maintenance going on with several servers (US located center) and as such they felt it would be best to wait for the celebration day (I assume). I know people think just because there are dates posted in this thread they are set in stone but they are just posted to the Alpha Test site (where everything is developed and tested by the D O Team) so they see if it works before releasing it to us.

I enjoy what information we get from Okapi32 and the occasional pop ins from RickDekard to give us some validity to what we see here. Maybe for future posts we need to modify the text with dates in it to say "date to be determined" since we have so many people who want to make these posts OFFICIAL information.

When they are ready to run the EVENT they will announce it. I do not understand WHY something posted in the UNOFFICIAL thread is taken for gospel. The information there is from the ALPHA Servers and not even close for release to us yet.

There was an announcement in main page. It just was 3rd in the news for some reason and not the first as it should have been.

It seems that there is not being enough time spent on stuff, that DO might think, are the "little things". I looked for an announcement early in the am and did not see it on the back page as it was not the first icon as it usually is. I found out later in the day, by chance, that there were event boxes out.
So because of the ignoring the "little things" I missed a half day boxing.

 

there was an event yesterday??? holy ****, there was nothing on forum about it...they should inform us 2-3 days ahead of the event.

As has been announced pretty much everywhere else now (and added to our calendar as well), it looks like the double GG rewards event will run Friday-Sunday.
