yep, same here. just finished my 30th zeta (still 8 havocs) and didn't get double uridium nor ammo

 

Be thankful you are getting anything doubled as the feature is not live till Friday.

 

you realize it was friday for him right? and that europe servers have like 8 hours ahead of USA server time

 

Only few things are doubled, not uridium or ammo for sure lol

 

They posted a new status on facebook, where they removed that uridium and ammo will be doubled and they deleted the old. They could at least apologize that they dun goofed. Well done.
If I knew that, I wouldn't spend hour of cubiing just to finish building the gate, since I won't be here during the weekend.

Well as he is posting on the US server forums I assumed he was playing on them, that is beside the point. RickDekard stated in a thread I started about the subject that they did a pre-release of the event on Thursday to test for bugs before the actual weekend event so the rewards were actually doubled for those doing gates a day ahead of time. But not as they advertised originally and is what has caused so much hate and discontent over this mis-information.

Sorry for my assumptions.

 

Well if you look at the Darkorbit at Facebook statement it says:

Break through the waves and earn double the rewards!
This weekend (Friday midnight through to Sunday 23:59) all pilots will receive double the standard rewards for completing and surviving a Gate.
That includes double the usual XP, Honor, Booty keys, Logfiles, Havocs and LF-4s.

Thus as you can see Uridium isn't doubled

Is the 'Forum' not universal? Across all servers.. and as some are aware.. there are other Threads refering to mis-information... Editting fb posts is not a way forward

 

Yes, that's the new post from facebook which was posted today, but the original that was posted on Thursday at ~6:00 pm, was deleted by them, when they realized, they lied in it, when they wrote that ammo and uridium will be doubled as well, which I guess you haven't seen.

Read the comment's below that post and you will see I am telling the truth, cos ppl are complaning there as well.

No the forums are not universal there are several different forums (mainly for language purposes) but I know there is at least 2 (US and German) as postings about this new weekend thing pointed out the difference.

Yes this is where the major confusion came from. THE ORIGINAL plans were to double the STANDARD rewards but someone decided to not double the ammo or Uridium rewards and thus the argument begins. The mis-communication is STANDARD for all NEW items and as such we need to get over this and just enjoy the game. D O makes changes to their minds on a whim and fail to remember there is more to this game than just that little office thy live in.

Accept what you get and lets just play the game.

Sorry to say "hearsay" is all we get, even when it is from the "horses mouth" (Newsletters) it is not accurate.

the statement was "several GG rewards are doubled today" at least on the Backpage...

You are correct and that is why they have changed the postings and also have sent out a Newsletter specifying only the non ECONOMIC items being doubled.

This is an issue that D O needs to correct and make as they originally advertised it and stop the back and forth that it has caused. TOO many posts for the same issue too hard to deal with them all.
