Are RKPS are going up because theres less ppl in mmo or on game in total?

 

The rankpoints you see for the ranks below and above you are someone else's rankpoints. They go up because that person is making rankpoints. If you are a Basic Colonel then you see the lowest Colonel who is above you and the highest Chief Major who is behind you.

 

Hmm thinking about this RP's aren't affected by numbers but the numbers of ranks are eg Basic colonel is 1% of company. So lets say there are 1,000 ppl in mmo then there would be 10 Basic Colonels. If 100 ppl join mmo then the number would change and there would be 11. RPs for Basic Colonel would change (someone would have to get the 11th spot, I would guess the highest Chief Major, therefore it would seem to the next highest Chief Major that RP's had dropped). Your comments owning ?

 

Oh and according to the back page numbers haven't changed too much in the last 6 months, maybe someone could explain why there are so many Basic Space Pilots in the top 100, that doesn't make sense ?

 

Yeah, numbers of members in each company can create and remove number of ranks but the population of most servers has been so low for so long now its really rare for that to happen with anything from Basic Colonel onwards, I imagine is pretty common with the smaller ranks though.
I know on GB2 at least we haven't had a new Colonel rank created in about a year, so the active company numbers have remained pretty much the same.

Top Users has been bugged for a while and when someone goes innactive their account will stay in the ranks and show up as basic space pilot, normally their account would be removed.
Also shortly after restart in the early morning everyone will show up as basic space pilot for about a hour or so whilst all the new ranks for the day are calculated.

 

Sorry owning that isn't the case with my accs, they go inactive and they go of ranks every time

 

I guess it must just be some particular accounts then because that is the reason why basic space pilot show up in the top user, just inactives that haven't been removed from being displayed.

 

Yes but I wonder how the mechanism works, there is a player in top 10 on GB1 been there at least 18 months, most of those as basic space pilot. (He does log now and then)

 

What is wrong with the rank today? I have been playing for a few months. I am a Chief Lieutenant....But today i logged on and i am a basic pilot rank? What the heck???

 

How close to the server reset did you log in? As Okapi32 said it takes about an hour for everything to be re-calculated and reset.

if this player is logging in every 45 days he will be a Basic Space Pilot after 28 days of not logging in. Most B S P in the ranks have been inactive less than 6 months and after this they seem to have the account removed from the ranks as D O removes accounts that have been inactive for over 6 months, reason so many people complain they lost their account (they have to request the account back from Support, very nicely).

The more activity by players the more the change in the ranks. This weekend we had the G G Bonus and everyone was doing G G's so there should have been a major change in the Rank Points. These calculations are designed to show where your activity matches up with the rest of the company on you server. The more active you are the closer you get to the next rank. The Top User Rank is calculated off of your Honor/100 and Experience/1000 ONLY and so doing things that generate lots of these will move you up that chart faster (having the 50% Honor booster helps a lot on this). Whereas, trying to gain a new title (Lieutenant) you gain faster from doing PvP than killing NPC's but we can not always kill other players, but the more activity in the company the more these numbers change as they are designed to keep the military structure to the game and allowing the percentages of assigned titles to be kept in place.

 

My accs are removed from ranking as soon as they become B S P

 

Ranks are screwed up, was Chief Captain on Friday, logged in Saturday lost rank and Chief was 100k rank points away, the game is dead as far as i am concerned, i log in for uri only now until they fix the major problems!!

 

thats because instead of adding more uri to npcs and making it easer for noobs to get started and better quest for noobs everything thats come out seems to be based on honor and ep a player now can make 1mill rp in a day without breaking a sweat

 

1 mill rp in a day, hardly think that's possible

 

Actually a person with XP-BO1, BO2 and 50% (from uridium) with Hon-BO1, BO2, and 50% (from uridium) flying with a Honor boosting Design (like Exalted or Surgeon) can feasibly make a Million RP's a day.

Take a Zeta farmer for instance, they get a total of (normally);

Experience
6,000,000 = 6,000 RP Gate Reward
5,097,000 = 5,097 RP NPC Reward

Honor
200,000 = 2,000 RP Gate Reward
4,524 = 45 RP NPC Reward

Now boost it with a Surgeon design and ALL boosters (not including CBS);

Experience
6,000,000 * 76% = 10,560,000 or 10,560 RP
5,097,000 * 76% = 8,970,720 or 8,971 RP

Honor
200,000 * 76% = 352,000 or 3,520 RP
4,524 * 76% = 7,962 or 80 RP

So every Zeta Gate they do gets them 23,131 RP's (on double rewards weekend 37,211) then add in a few quests that finish that day (may have been working on for a week but rewarded this day)
Level 19 NPC Quests give 57,800 RP or 101,728 RP Boosted
Level 20 NPC Quests give 75,000 RP or 132,000 RP Boosted (not all NPC quests give same reward)
Level 21 NPC Quests give 84,000 RP or 147,840 RP Boosted

I did state FEASIBLY, but as shown with the calculations they have had to work very hard to get the MILLION Rank Points in a day (granted I have not added the NPC points when doing the quests as these quests are not the type you are going to finish in one day, even in a group of UFE sharing the kills) but the person wanting to prove they could get a million RP's in a day would have 5 quests down to the last NPC to finish it. Collect the Quest Reward for each, Farm All Gates they have built (maximum of 22 Gates), hopefully they do not run out of elite ammo and have to grind the gates with x-3 ammo. But the 5 quests get them better than halfway to their goal and 22 gates will give them the rest of the RP's needed (possibly) but this is assuming they can do the gates in less than an hour each and play non stop for the entire 24 hour period.

A UFE level 21 who has been working their tail off on their quests (like UFE do NPC Quests) destroying NPC's in enemy maps by the hundreds and killing enemy players while doing the NPC's gets the final kill for all 5 quests, they can have open, still has to do 11 Zeta's to make their 1 Million Rank Points.

Well the best I ever did in a day was around 200k RPS so your calculations are wrong somewhere sorry. Hmm 6,000,000 EP isn't 6,000 RPS it's 60 ? And quests don't tend to give Honour, which is the best way to earn RP's lol, I should know after all

As this is where I got the information from and did the calculations for the Boosted as shown. Yes Honor is the fastest to get RP as it is divided by 100 instead of 1000 which is what Experience is calculated at and if you notice the figures I used were from the Experience given not the Honor, as you said is not given.

So, since you should KNOW, you might check before telling a person they do not know what is in Black and White.

 

Let me just ask you who probably has the most RP's in the game ?
