LAG- In-Game (May 09, 2016) Feedback

I have played on 1-3, 1-4 1-5 1-6 & 1-7 and have had lag problems. The lag takes place if my pet is out or not. Also, as noted by another player, I have been popped as a result of the lag by J_man_99 from the VRU shot you down. This player was trying to taking advantage of the lag to get kills and it seems to be working I am not the only kill he received.

When shooting NPC and its only bad when i use full damage config(game freeze), speed config not so much but still drop to 15-20fps.

Echo above comments. The "stutter" or "lag" issues were annoying yesterday, today the game is not playable. Targeting a npc or player and firing causes total game freeze - even though I can still hear the fight, the screen does not update - and can result in death, making GG impossible and missions / quests or the random in-game fights also impossible. I also noticed the reset of drone formation back to standard.

I asked in global chat if pilots were experiencing lag issues. Nobody said they had no lag. Some said it was less bad today, others said it was more lag today. No one responded that they had no issues with lag.

I know you are all working to fix this issue; however, your lack of updates causes upset. Even if you don't know yet the root cause can't you at least acknowledge 2x per day that you are aware of the problem? Why do I have to search the forum to find out about this issue? Why don't the CM's give update in global chat? Do you know about how transparency can help you save your customers?

We are heading into 48 hours with this problem. Do you not see this as urgent? If you do, then I hope you will address this problem with a notification in the game client, removing advertising, to let people know what is happening.

Please stop being a fail.

NEW ISSUE:

skylab upgrades no longer have timers on them. its stuck on 0:00:00 and flashing and doesnt work.

Also, anytime someone says anything in chat it cuts frame rates down to nothing for a second. if a bunch of people are talking at once and spamming the chat it give me bad lag.

I am boxing and am clocked and seem to have lag about every 2 minutes when I roam to box. I also lag when I change from one chat to another (like from global to eic chat). I am also lagging when I change from one map to another (going threw the gate) I am afraid to uncloak due that I may have major lag issues when I am farming npc's. This is all I have to report at this time. Been a player on this game sense 2009 and on the same server as well.

so so tru aries, have been killed while in freeze mode by enemy more times than i care to count now, they should be penalized. one question tho, are they not suffering the same fate as us all?... or are they somehow immune to it thus being able to make those kills without freezing themselves..... also, are u in global Europe 1 at all, think i may have seen you from time to time, seems familiar...

Since this update the lagg is god awful and is worse when you go to fight AI (UFE dying to a boss devo? ya ouch).
While picking up bonus boxes I am not getting my usual with box doubler. Big box of uri in PVP map is 524 and 5 GG spins...I am picking up 403 uri and 4GG spins. Also the drone formation I choose doesn't stay when I log out, everytime I login I have to make sure I have my correct formation up.
My computer specs are that of the ability to run diablo 3 on highest settings and no issue. My internet is the highest one can get. I would certainly hope this gets resolved in a timely fashion and wish good luck on the DDoS attack your facebook page stated was happening. I think this update is a start to something that can be great as I have seen in many other MMORPG's just needs a bit of work =)

 

I have been experiencing the lag when engaging enemies as well, getting blown up by NPCs is taking it's toll on our drones. Also, I noticed that when I attempt to load with Chrome (latest and greatest) it starts to load then freezes when opening the gaming window. Not sure if it's related, but it might be a place to look. I would think the IDS would be able to locate the source of the DDOS attack. But, I have no idea what you are dealing with.

 

darkorbit will never admit faults , its either you as a player that has a crappy computer , or darkorbit is under a so called ddos attack ..( figures ) they will never tell you sorry our server are outdeated and old , for this too big game to be a browser game

Shooting anything means I lag/freeze up, and now there are some that obviously don't lag soooo, I pop. Maybe I should just spend the event doing transfers, and boxing because its not safe to fire a shot in this game.

I have popped more in the past two days than in the past month, maybe 2... all due to lagging and freezing up. Assembly in itself should not cause this. What else was changed here. Chat don't work, change it back. Group, and you can't see who is in the group with you, nor go to group chat. I for one am not worried about trying to make surgeon but find it unnerving when I can't even do a simple mission all because I can't tell if I am getting shot to death.

It's still early for any progress reports on the lag issue but rest assured they are drinking plenty of coffee and are only allowed their cake rations when they have finished

In the meantime, we'll try to keep you updated as soon as we have anything to tell you guys.

Still have all the same issues game locks up as soon as i fire on something or it fires on me. it's now been 36 hours from the start of the lag.

just letting you guys kno it still lagging. don't attack bosses they will freeze you completely

 

In the meantime, please try removing AJP CPUs from your ships and check whether the lag persists smile-emoticon

very hard to login, auto switch standard drone formation, in every map when I shoot something got massive lags, all stops, have FPS 35-40 and when start to shoot FPS its 2.... now i put all on low and same... its inpossible to play...

hope you guys will fix that as soon is possible
