[TEI] M.A.S.Q.U.E. Ship Expo Event

So this event was supposed to start today. It does not say when and has not been posted to the Calendar on the Forums. When was this supposed to go active? Why was it posted in the Event FAQ's instead of the E A area? Why are we going to start another Event when we have so many issues with the Event currently running? Too many questions and no answers other than "Wait and See", no wonder people are not getting excited about NEW Events or Improvements to the game.

 

Just now checked german forum and saw there post that in translate was like , sorry we have problems , the event was canceled -,- .

 

The event as been postponed because of unforeseen problems, this is the OA from the German forum.

Update: Due to an unexpected onset of unforeseen problems we will be postponing the M.A.S.Q.U.E. Shiplookz ™ for the time being.

It is unlikely that the event will start now until at least the start of next week as tomorrow is a National holiday in Germany .

 

Too bad we have to rely on other Forums for our information. Things like this should be automatically posted to ALL Forums by D O directly not relying on the Volunteer staff to open a message and post information from that.

 

You have seen nothing man, in the spanish forum ( by the way a play on spain 1) they take at least till the event launch hour or even later to post the information. That is why i decided to take a look at this one because is waaaay more organized than the one I came from.

Sidenote: An example of how bad the spanish forum is, the bible faqs/ faqs index has not been updated since january of 2014 and they are still working on them after two years!!
Also there are a lot of mistranslations which can be changed if they update the forum but seems like no one cares in there

So you should at least appreciate working people here not like other forums

 

The Event FAQ that has been posted yesterday has been deleted from the forums.

 

Thank you for the information it was just recently deleted.

Instead of deleting the thread they could have at least given us an announcement that it had been delayed and WHY. But then we are not ENTITLED to this information, just like updates on FIXES being done we used to get frequent updates of Bugs/Glitches being fixed but that was yesteryear and current is keep the players in the DARK as much as the ORBIT will let us.

 

Yes, I was visiting the thread, hoping to get updates on the launch date

God knows how much I hate this "announce/de-announce" event things..

 

The new event will start tomorrow based on what a admin said in the turkish forum and the french forum one too....

Amen!!Spanish support and forums are nothing like English support and forums so all English speaking users should be happy to even get an answer through support or something posted on forum.

 

As these are posted by the Mods it will not be the same and depending on which mod does the posting it might be seen in the Event FAQ or the Official Announcements or even the Event Announcements but I would not hold my breath until I saw the stuff in the maps, since the Calendar has not even been updated with this information.

 

Just because something is not as bad as it is for other people doesn't mean people should be fine with it... It sucks that the Spanish have it that bad but just because the English have it better doesn't mean it still isn't bad/poor. >.>

 

they give with one hand and take away with the other, its shocking how we recieve our info, clearly bp dont give two hoots about the customer base, hopefully the new owners are taking all this in and will rout the deadwood very soon! it makes me sad to think of the state this once in a lifetime game used to be, they have truely killed it stone dead!

 

Would be better if they were OWNERS instead of SHARE HOLDERS. They might actually make a change to the game but as SHARE HOLDERS they are just interested in getting their Dividend checks.

 

MMM,what BP does is one thing,what volunteers do is another.I am not gonna sit here and bash people that dedicate their free time to help on forums.But maybe you can join the team and make it better?It's a good suggestion isn't it?

As suggested above, the event/update was put on hold today, so the FAQ for the event was pulled back for the time being since the dates don't quite match up anymore for one^ ^ However, the event is not cancelled, at least not by the information we have far.

The FAQ was posted to the Event FAQ section because that's where they go. When it's time for the OA (which will probably match the one on the backpage) it'll be linked there.

& If anyone is interested in helping us, you're more than welcome to apply.
