[TI] Where are my ships?

Okay so the way to do this as I explained about the Shells, get a ship to 3-7 (jump chip, flying or whatever) have a shell allocated to the Favorite Hangar and warp into it. Log out and switch Hangars, as you used to. Remove the Shell from the Favorites, and now play with the ship you want to play with. The Shell is now in that map for future selection if wanting to Warp to that map in the future (suggest making a post-it note for what ship is in what map).

Does this make sense to you? Also if you have already "parked" ships in different maps (and had designs on them or did not lose them in Update) they are still where you had them last, so any ship in your Old Hangar system that was not removed (extra Basic Ships) will still be where you had them sitting. My Citadel is in 5-3 for maximum Transfer Value.

 

That's the point - I don't want to warp or fly, as my server is enough active that there is a big chance someone would pop me on battle maps on my way back.
The old system didn't require me to spend jump credits/uridium for warping or forcing me to fly - I was always looking at that as a major benefit of having multiple hangars. Apart from switching between 5-3 and 5-2 but in this case you don't need the same ship at two different places.

I have Diminisher on 3-7, the other Goliath (that was deleted as a duplicate) was on my home map. So all designs except Diminisher are now on home map.

And I thought you lost your Citadel in the update... did you already get it back or got a new one from the auction?

 

Well, you are going to have to redo what you had done before using different Designs/Ships in the same way and if not wanting to Warp then would need to use different Goliath Ships to do the same thing with and Transfer Equipment to them as you wanted to play if they were not already equipped. Sorry there is no other way to resolve that.

Lost Base Ship as I had the Design attached still have the Designs/Ships.

 

Yeah, I will have to redo everything. No other way around it. I had 8 hangars and was planning to get ninth for Citadel.

Oh well, I had a naive hope DO already started restoring ships to players...

 

Well at least now the 9th and 10th hangars are not going to cost you anything when you are ready. You expect things to happen over the weekend, you are naive, they only do this if it effects D O's economy (Kuiper Gate Launch Event) not our playing enjoyment. Remember we are still dealing with 3 week old issues from A.S. Launch.

 

I had to get a "basic" Aegis in auction for over 300 mil because I went to use it and couldn't find it when I wanted it - I had the other versions but never used them. Can I get my credits back?? I've been too busy lately to follow much of what's been going on.

 

I had to buy my Aegis for 250 000 uridium, Spearhead for 45 000 uridium.
Then 7 additional hangars for 50 000, 45 000, 40 000, etc. uridium (unluckily for me, slightly before the significant hangar price reduction).
All of that now doesn't exist any more.

 

Please stop patronizing me all the time, I'm not an idiot.
I've come to the burnout point and think no one can dictate me when/if that is allowed to happen. The "choice" of buying ships again is totally unacceptable for me and is the main reason for my burnout.

 

bisphenol, I can understand your frustration. I have asked that the issue be looked into again as it appears that it has not been resolved for all players. I can only ask that you be patient as the Dev Team look into the issue and find a resolution.

I didn't know that the missing ships issue have been partly solved, i.e. that anyone who lost the ship in the transition already got it back. So I appreciate your effort in asking the Dev Team again to delve deeper into the problem.

We are aware that several of the Default ships were not added back to players accounts after the update to the customization system.

This matter is being investigated further and we hope to have a resolution very soon.

I really appreciate the latest info regarding the issue, thanks for passing it along to me.

But still have important question: is the Dev Team aware that this is not affecting only 'some of the players', as stated on twitch and other announcements but seems to be the general case?

After contacting many friends, clanmates and random unknown people in chats of 3 servers (GE 1, US East 1, GB 1) no one have yet confirmed they received back their missing base ships.
I'm trying to contribute with hopefully valuable feedback.

I was just wondering - as I mentioned above I had to get a new basic Aegis in auction - is this something I should open a specific support ticket for, to (hopefully) get my 300+ mil credits back?

When a solution is found and if ships are given back I'm afraid nothing will register to my account to compensate.

I'm sure they're pretty bogged down right now and don't want to add to that unnecessarily, but I'm not sure how to handle it.

You can send in a support ticket and give them a copy of the transaction logs.
Whats the worst they can say... be patient. (LOL)

Yes, the drone formation started to revert to the basic one after each port jump. So basically my purchased drone formations became non functional. I don't see that listed among known issues, can you please pass that over to the Dev Team as well?

I'd like to report that the missing base ships have appeared on my account at GE1, GB1, US East 1 and GE6 servers.
Still waiting for basic forms to arrive on GE7.

But hopefully the process goes from server to server and they will eventually appear on GE7 as well.

Recovered the last missing ship on GE7 through auction.
