[SC] Closing this THREAD as Problem IS …. RECTIFIED……………

IN MY OPINION:

I LOVE the game as I have "STUCK WITH IT " for 5 years. It has never been as BROKEN as it has been for the last WEEKS.

If you do not agree that game is broken, then you do not play daily.

Currently, IN MY OPINION, there are more UNHAPPY customers now than HAPPY customers.

The following are examp[les of "Closing remarks" from various Forum relative employees of Dark Orbit:

# 1 > The team is aware and looking into this as there are a few thread's and posts already regarding these issues which has been passed up.

# 2 > These issues including CBS Modules disappearing and Pet Protocols have been Confirmed by Support and have been passed onto Q&A/Developers awaiting to be fixed and are being looked into.

# 3 > Closing as current common question.

#4 > Will be Closing the thread due to Multiple threads with Issues already reported/passed up and answered.

# 5 > Most of the Issues reported on this thread have been either Reported, Resolved or Pending further Investigation.

# 6 > Closing as ….. and to prevent further flaming/spam.

#7 > Closing as many threads on the subject-

# 8 > Closing as lack of response from Original Poster. Support response pending.

# 9 > As has been repeated over and over, they're working on it. We don't have a "when" it will be fixed, it'll just be fixed when a fix is ready.

With this many problems, the current status should be posted DAILY or at least weekly.

A moderator created a post last week of known current issues and I was unable to find it after going through 6 pages od "New Posts"..

…………...Our DO community would be a lot healthier if WE knew the status of " OUR perceived problems".

 

Look under HQ in Official Announcements or Technical Announcements and they are listed there under the "PINNED" messages in order of posting and do not appear in "New Postings" as no one can reply to them and therefore never re-appear unless updated (usually not the case).

"RECTIFIED" is a loose word, what one person considers RECTIFIED may not be to another person and therefore is why you will never see it used in the forums.

If following the Rules of the Forums, Creating Multiple Threads for the same issue is against the rules and they used to COMBINE the threads but as so many people created and posted in ALL threads they found it easier to CLOSE instead of Combine them. When tempers flare and the thread becomes a BASHING Party then it gets closed before too much more FLAMING can occur.

I find it funny you are upset over multiple SIMILAR threads being closed to clean up the number of NEW POSTS having to be scrolled through to find one you might be interested in. As my Signature says I look at EVERY POST in the New Posts and when I see one player creating 5 threads in a week for the same subject, wish I had the tolerance to apply for the Moderator Position so I could close them as fast as they are opened. It is like kicking the horse when it is dead, you are not going to make it move again, D O is the same way once they get the reports of the problems they prioritize the situation and work on the highest priority item first. CBS and the Modules is not a HIGH Priority Item compared to LAG or NORMAL Play activities, and compared to the impacted players (though important to those wanting to build them) is not a high needed item for ALL Players.

Too many threads are closed and then forgotten and/or the subject matter of closed thread is reposted as WE can not find an unresolved issue.

My use of "RECTIFIED" is not loose. WE want the game to run as it did before the April Fools JOKE.
The fact that I, and many other CUSTOMERS, have not earned the 30+% from my PET,( for example) WHICH I paid for (in uri), in FIVE weeks is ridiculous.

COMBINING threads would be a lot better than IGNORING/ BURYING them............

Whether DO sets priority on what they deem as important, is TOTALLY irrelevant, CUSTOMERS have PAID for these "problems".
WE want the game fixed. Keeping we, the customers, up to date , at least once a week is not TOO much to ask for.

My response was in reference to the CLOSING of THREADS as TITLED, the ISSUES have been sent to the Dev Team and the MODERATORS pass on the information as soon as they receive anything from them. You have listed the REASONS threads are closed, IF I went through the THREADS I have responded to WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE you would understand why MULTIPLE THREADS are closed with only the responses you have posted. I was not insinuating anything against you but I do know someone who has created several threads for the same issue and MOST of them are still OPEN, and they just create more clutter for people to scroll through to see what the issues in the game are and what the possible solutions are.

I do agree some of the threads are closed before they should be and we are not being updated as often as we should be but these issues have been posted in the 2 ANNOUNCEMENT areas I mentioned in first response and they are also being updated there. I too wish the game could be returned to the way it was before the JOKE was installed and if this area was being investigated MIGHT be the cause of a lot of the issues, but the things we reported were not taken serious and believe they are not even looking at it.

I created a post so we could have all the information of issues or questions posted in one area and was closed with only a couple of responses as they were all previously reported (even though I had stated these were KNOWN ISSUES).

 

I agree completely. A thread should not be closed for any other reason then the problem has been fixed. That way everyone can clearly see that what the problem was and that it was taken care of.

As shown above there are many threads, especially when there are issues, that are just the same thing over and over and over. Having ten threads carrying on about the same issue doesn't help us to help you.

Simply merging all the threads doesn't really work because it disrupts the flow and conversation of any of the given threads. Closing all but one isn't anything new, trying to update and maintain the conversation in one place rather than 20 isn't anything new, and I don't imagine that is going to change anytime soon. Times like these might make these things stand out more because there are so many threads - nevermind that many of them very much are the same things which, while expected, does not improve the situation or ease moderation in general.

I'm sorry but there is more than one side of this. Times like these are very busy & frustrating, and we understand that. There isn't much we can do to change that but we do need to keep things in order while we wait for the situation to improve. The current bugs and issues will not always be there, and there will be a resolution.

A weekly update from those "responsible to FIX all the stuff" would save a world of grief.
I have never seen it take this long to FIX stuff....0-0 .......( in 5 yrs)
P.S. I guess DO forgot to send me my anniversary present mor maybe it is in the mail............. ...

When there's something new to tell us I'm sure they will. As much as it's been mentioned lately, I don't think people fancy another "working on it" update :x

for the anniversary tho, DO's is in December, that one will be all through the game

I'd thought so, but you never know when someone thinks DO forgot their birthday or something instead of DO doing it on it's birthday
just avoiding anyone's confusion for later if they don't know how all that works

Where are we with the fixes to the game, compensation for 6+ weeks of unsatisfactory PLAY and have not seen an update from DO for awhile. I may have missed this as I, along with many others, are not playing as WE used to??????????????????
