[GI] Some n00b questions...

1.) Atm I am getting 2 EE from boxes in battlemaps, presumably because 1x1.5=1.5 which rounds to 2. If i buy the doubler. would it double it to 4 (2x2) or take the base value and make it 3 (2x1.5).
1.a) What is the MAX EE i can get from a box?
1.b) Why am i getting 79 Uri from a box in battle maps?... Should it be 75? I have 0 pp in luck or tractor beam

2.) What is the cheapest way to obtain Havoc, LF-4, and log disks? Im guessing just do zetas, and using those booty keys on LF-4 or are epsilon better for that? (only 4 LF-4 atm). (anyone got booty key probabilities? thanls)

3.) When are the next event boxes?

4.) Electro optics will increase hit probability by 5%, so if I max it what will the probability be that my lasers will miss?

5.) CBO-100 ammo costs 5 uri a piece, is it worth buying it to shoot the bots?

6.) Assembly, should I make emps, etc or should i save up for the next best thing (goli desgn maybe?)

7.) Does the PET in guard mode use seprom?

8.) Boxing or palladium?

9.) Chevron>drill, for alien hunting hitting approx 13k x2?

10.) How many radar protocols should i put on my PET for max efficiency? (boxing and palla)

11.) Is crazy cubikon on every week? I enjoyed that 450k uri...

12.) How can i get the Surgeon? Becuase i can't run from any UFE ship rn

1) Yes it is 1.5 EE so with doubler you would be getting 3, not 4.
b) It is 5 or 6 (not sure which) if you have PET full of Salvage protocols and boxing abilities from pilot bio
c) There might be a spaceball bonus going on so you get 5% more uridium than normal, your company won the Spaceball

2) Yes, do Zeta. There is this double gg reward weekend so you should always build 2 Zeta and wait for the event to come. You will get 50 booty keys and 100 logdisks instead of 25 and 50. Also 2 Havocs instead of 1. Use those keys during LF-4 or Zeus-days depending on if you want Zeus or not.

3) No one knows. Hopefully soon.

4) Against aliens you will hit +90% but if enemy player has Evasive manouvers II maxed out it will counter your Electro optics ability so you will hit 70-80%

5) No. You will only make profit if you have +20 LF4 and double boosters and rebate. With mostly LF3 you will use more uridium than you get as reward. But you get some nice credits and EP so you may want to try it yourself. Buy few of them and find out.

6) I am saving them since EMP are pretty cheap to buy. There may come something very nice to Assembly and then I would regret if I had spent all the resources on EMP.

7) PET does not use Seprom in any situation.

8) Boxing with doubler gives much more than palladium. In palla you can get max. 3000 in a hour which is 200 extra energy but while boxing you can get +10k uri and +100 extra energy which is much more than 200 spins since 1 spin takes less than 100u with all the discounts. Palladium is better without doubler.

9) Depends on which rockets you are using but I would say Drill. If you are using PLT-2021 they both increase your damage as much but Drill is superior when shooting x3 or when outside of rocket range. And if you do not have premium, do not even think abotu using Chevron when shooting aliens.

10) As much as you can of course But you may want to mix them with Salvage protocols for bigger box rewards. There is no optimal amount of radar protocols, more is better.

11) Few times a month usually. But now there was a bug that it lasted so long, normally it is only 2-3 hours.

Since the PET uses ammo from your ship if you have it sepped then the PET is using Seprom as it is using the same ammo as you. Can you show me where I am incorrect on this?

 

Sure. A, set your PET to guard mode and let it shoot and keep your "refining" thing open and you will see that the amount of seprom on lasers does not go down or B, equip your PET with a single laser and look at the damage, it is clear that it is not using seprom.

 

I just tested this. He is right, and it sucks...

1. since you cannot get half a gg spin they do round it to 2, but with doubler it goes to 3 because they double the 1.5 (unfortunately)
   1 (A) personally am not sure will go with 5 or 6.
   1 (B) The only thing I can think of is the uri bonus from winning and event such as spaceball etc.

5. This is my opinion, but unless you are UFE it's not worth it, as a UFE I personally make profit but I do not recommend it for anyone who is not UFE as your damage would be low and it would use to much ammo

There are sometimes sales on protocols and PET gear, but with any other sale its at random times so no one knows when it will be unless they announce it.
