[GI] USA East 1 is so pathetically broken

No players, no talk about a server merge, every day I expect the server to go down for a half hour and the backpage to work on n off all damn day. Put up a survey or something and merge servers... fix the issue creating the server to go down every day. Stop putting so many useless updates and events, I mean this Soccer TDM is so useful, everyone plays it too (sarcasm.. have not even seen someone score a point the whole time its been up). I really dont understand it, whether DO is trying to get people off the game or not, this game has horrible customer satisfaction. Not even including all the game has been doing is taking money and not giving a thing out. Is there even gonna be a JPA anymore? Razor giveaways? Anything? Not just this server too the whole game is messed up. I mean come on just turn off all the servers for a day or so and fix it up, every usa east server is dead, merge em, make plans, do something telling us that your working on it, other than saying you are.

never noticed the servers going down then again I wasent home till like 7 but why u screaming do something else your acting like a darkorbit addict who blows if they get cut off the supply. TDM may not be played on your server if u say so but in others it does ga1 be live and jpa has been talked about but there trying to work on many things its just better to work on one problem at a time speeds things up and with the hitac event coming up they might look at other projects before the event ends lots of profits to be made and crazyness.

 

I miss the days when it was just pilot bio ,skill and fe.

If your are talking about the Soccer TDM score board on the main page it is a glitch that has been there since the Tournament Event started and has not changed except during the actual Special Events that are scheduled in the Calendar above.

I would love to see the maps like they were years ago when there were plenty of players to hunt/ group with. Would the Game Admins be willing to come to my Teamspeak to talk about the things that us old time players would like to see. I'm not looking for a complaining session as that will get any of us anywhere. It would be nice to have an actual conversation to let the players thoughts be heard. I was the General of EIC for many years then quit the game when the botters/cheaters were running rampant. I have since returned happy to see the botters and what not have been vastly eliminated, but honestly.....i have to fly around for hours to find 1 ship to kill..and regrettably, its often a low/new player that I find. I will see if I get a reply then I can send my TS Info to any LONG TIME PLAYERS only that would like to join in with a mature conversation.

Have you tried the "Discord" method of communicating with D O and the Team? This is supposed to be the newest method of actually getting involved with the Dev Team and others making decisions in D O.

 

They are looking into mering the servers but its a big leap there is pros and cons and alot of stuff to work out and no1 really dose events like SC or TDM for the simple reason the game chnage from fun to egos and as there is no port to jump in there people dont do it

 

No..I actually never heard of it..but as I was away from the game for so long..I'm sure there are other things new to me. I will research that option. Yhanks for your reply,

MCC and getting hunted is the problem (one shot POPs) - can't enjoy PvE and collecting (assembly). This goes for all servers.

 

As mentioned, you can try using the Discord - as there are many moderators and Development team members who do use that communication feature.

The topic of server merge has been something that they (The Dev Team) are looking at. So we need to be patient, let them resolve some of our current issues -then move on to new ventures.

As for the statement about certain clans running the servers. I remember the days when this was a Company based PVP game. Their were very few if any multi company clans and helping the enemy was frond upon. I hope that somewhere in the near future we go back to that type of game play... I keep my laser crossed for a compromise - something that brings back old style game play with the latest features.

But that just me.

Multi Company clans can be confusing, but then again...you have to keep up with the times and can't live in the past. With so few players in the game, I think most players are open to anything to get a little action in the game. I know a lot of people are screaming for a server merge, but there are a lot of serious logistical problems there that I implore all of you to try and research on. Its obvious that BP is investing a lot of time to make the game more attractive and interesting (Hasn't always been that way, trust me). I applaud a lot of the new updates, but agree with Astraea (I always misspell that name) that the current issues should be resolved before anything radical (server merge) takes place.
