were chosen for the euro cup and the turk admins told us we would get our participation rewards when the event is over... and we still havent got anything or heard anything about it.

Someones a stroppy mare cos they didnt get picked x). At the end of the day they didnt chose to get picked, most teams entered for fun, not for fame.

 

get over it - it's only a game...besides they probably entered it for fun...not fame.

 

Maybe post this in the right place and talk to the Turk admins? Not a lot can be done here as this is the English forum.

 

How are we suppose to contact turk admins when we dont even talk turkish :/ ive tried a few times using translate and going on there server but they dont even understand what we are trying to say.

 

If you are not Turkish then why did you play representing the Turkish server? I guess that if you want the rewards you is gonna have to learn to talk to them.

 

dude, the whole event was on turkish server, france... poland, portugal, spain germany england etc... we all played on turkish server because the whole euro event was on the turk servers set up by the turkish admins etc.. and luckily our gb mods picked us to represent england. the turk super admins told us we would get our rewards when the euro is finished that was on friday and we still havent got nothing, and we dont know how to contact them.

You don't deserve a reward for that attempt at fighting.

 

Whatever language forum you were picked to represent should be able to answer the question for you. I do know that some of these events do take some time to book the rewards as D O wants to make sure there were no cheaters involved in the contest and it is easier to change the rankings than to change the rewards.

 

pfft there can be no cheating on this event as the players which were picked played on the accounts which were given by turk admins and those admins were right there on TS of the teams as well as the map. they just need to give the rewards to the accounts which they picked. and shame no english MOD is taking responsiblity of this. No reply from any1 of them much shame.

 

I did not asked to be picked and would not enter a tournament where the participants were picked at random. I have no idea of the ability of the fellow pilots flying with me. Equally, there are only a few British players that have any chance of going up against organised teams from other servers. Since, I believe, only Flash from GB1 server was the one player who put himself forward and was unfortunately not picked, and has the ability to go up against the organised clans on other servers, you are right in the assessment that these players were picked on the basis to have fun and not potentially win it. Hence, the similarities with the English football team.

With regards to the team who played the Spacecup tourny, there isn't much we say other than we'll try to find out what the deal is. This was handled and run by the TR folks, and our involvement was pretty much trying to get the team for EN/UK figured out.

So, we'll try to find out, but for now I've not got any more info to offer^^

Why dont you contact the turk cm called ONE he was the head mod on ts during the event.

 

Couldnt you just give us the rewards instead of them?

 

1) Because I don't hve contact information for every admin, mod, etc for every language team. I've sent the request through the correct channels and now we need to wait.

2) No, we are not able to book them ourselves.
