[SC] Questions about spearhead ship.

Okay, first off, don't answer if you don't know for reasonably certain, I don't want to get a bunch of confusing answers here I have to sort through.

Basically, I was thinking about getting a spearhead and using it to troll MMO and VRU, but I'm not sure how it works.

Most of my questions are about ultimate cloaking.

Can you lay mines while ultimate cloaked without decloaking?

Is it really only 30 seconds?

Can you use ultimate cloak if you're already normal cloaked, and does it uncloak you afterwards?

Do EMPs and EMP mines turn off ultimate cloaking?

Is there any real way to find and kill a spearhead that's ultimate cloaked?

If you run into a minefield of DDMs or something while ultimate cloaked, what happens?

If you're already under attack, can you ultimate cloak to escape it? (Both from players and NPCs)

How long are the cooldowns on ultimate cloaking?

Can you repair your ship while ultimate cloaked?

Can you quickly uncloak on someone and shoot them while ultimate cloaked?

Anyway, and I know, there's a wikia, but it didn't give me the information I needed.

 

1. Yes you can lay mines with ultimate cloak
2. It does last 30 seconds
3. Your normal cloak will be unaffected once ultimate cloak runs out
4. EMP mines does turn off ultimate cloaking (Not sure about emp)
5. No, Because it removes you from the mini map, and you can't be locked
6. Nothing, you will just take damage but will remain cloaked
7. Only when you are out of range you can ultimate cloak, and when you do the enemy can't lock you or see you on the mini map.
8. 6 minute cool down
9. Yes you can repair will ultimate cloaked
10. Picking up a bonus box, resource, cargo and attacking another player will render your ultimate cloak useless

 

Wait, you have to be out of range? So like, is that even if they aren't shooting you? Like, say an enemy goli just flies up to your ship and does nothing, does that disable it?

 

No. You can sit on top of someone and they won't know it. I'm not sure if someone got a lock on you before ultimate cloaking if that lock disappears, though. (Maybe someone knows the answer to that - I'm curious.) What #7 means is if you are under fire, you have to get out of range and not take any hits (including from passing NPC's) for a certain amount of time before you can enable the ultimate cloak - not sure, but seems like 10-15 seconds or so. So if someone's firing on you, you can't just get out of range and throw the ultimate cloak on right away.

 

I have some questions about the aegis too, first off, do it's shield and HP beams heal itself too or just other ships?

 

If someone has lock on you, the lock disappears when you ulti-cloak.

Aegis heals itself and other ships that you are either grouped with or have alliance with.
