sorry for posting here if it is the wrong room
i dont have the privilege to post anywhere else!

My concern is about the new terms and conditions which i would like clearing up .
i have tried support and basically replies have come back as its how it is .

my prob is is my internet security .KASPERSKY
to try combat fraud it uses proxies on payment .and the general advice from anyone who uses payments online is to use the best security now you can have .

Why are bigpoint banning people if they use that security against fraud?

we are spending money here just as if we are on shopping site .

why compromise that security just for bigpoint??

i would really like to continue to play this game ,
but this puts me of even more than the recent price increase for which they have given to everyone reiding in the UK .

any answers pls,if i can use continue using my kaspersky and proxie payments?

  2. You need to be aware of the issue that it is not security if the IP Address is being changed. You have better protection if all of your transactions are from the same IP Address instead of several different ones. Most of the security measures are to help encrypt personal information and do nothing to the Internet Proximity Address (where the transaction was created). There are programs out there that constantly change where the machine is accessing the internet (usually illegal activity like [REMOVED]) which makes tracking the offender hard to do. These are the ones subject to perma ban not encryption security measures.

I see no mention of needing a proxy to use this AV on there website, just a guide to set a proxy if YOU use one to connect to the net.
So just turn off proxy in the setting and you will be fine and Dandy.

I think you're misunderstanding what "Kaspersky secure connection" is, it doesn't use some kind of proxie in the background whenever you are making payments, you have to go out of your way to activate it*. That is unless you're using a public connection/wifi to connect to the internet that is not secure, then a pop-up window should show recommending you to use Kaspersky secure connection as soon as you connect to the public connection(or well if it thinks it is "vulnerable or dangerous").

Though of course this is just from what I have read about it from their website, if they have incorrectly/insufficiently described it feel free to say so if you're deffinitely sure it doesn't do(/just do) what I've said.

*From what I have read from their site "Kaspersky secure connection" is basically a VPN which you connect to the internet through, which of course you should know when or not you're using it. I'm assuming you're not using a public wifi/connection since you didn't explicitly say, the only other reason I can think of to really want to use a VPN whenever make payments is if you think your house internet connection is compromised, otherwise I don't see the need to try hiding from your own private internet connection.
