[SC] GB1 aution weekly bids ..is this a joke

Hi so I checked the bids on gb1 server for weekly bids on ships and found this lol how the hell can some 1 have that amount of credits to bid 3 times for all the ships ..I know there was a credit glitch before but didn't darkorbit ban all them players for using the bug glich months ago ,this needs looking into fast

Depending on how long they have been playing and how many credits they may or may not have spent it is very easy to have this amount of credits to throw away. I personally get 16 Million a transfer for my Promerium twice a day when I have premium. 32 Million times 30 days 960 Million credits without adding any of the high credit event missions to be added to them also. And if using insta send could create 129.831 Mill for 8050 Uridium making one transfer with normal send method doing this every other day if their Seprom was turned off and the SkyLab was level 20. 30 days of this would generate over 2 billion credits just from SkyLab Transfers and again boxing and doing event quests could account for another bunch of credits.

 

Check the name and view their profile. The time stamp for joining will show. Try the math and see. Can bid on the ships once anyways after you win.

 

The three amounts being the same looks suspicious in its own right. Hmm, 37 bil credits is more than what I need to upgrade 2 credit ships I am working on. As stated, its possible to get a lot but 12 bil for one of those ships is excessive I think for bidding. This player must have tons, no matter how they were generated, and nothing to spend them on. The fact that they didn't have the ships already just points to something I would think is strange.

if hes banned would be nice if they could remove the bids

 

Neither we or support can do anything about the bids - the only way to override an existing bid is for it to be outbid. There's not a button available to us to void it or such. Unless the system would recognize an account as banned & default the bid itself, but I can't vouch for if that actually happens or not as it hasn't really come up

I would think support could do something about it. I have checked and the player is on 5 out of 6 weekly bids. I can's see the player getting outbid personally. Same amount on all 5 of them? Really. I personally don't care that he will get them but its clear that there is an issue and if he has been banned for doing something wrong to get that much, or more, then the bid should be able to be retracted.

I went ahead and removed the players name to save the mod a step. Once the player wins, they won't be there to mess it up for anyone else in the future.

So you are saying you only have 9,999 credits, remember you need to bid a minimum of 12,345,688,910 to place a new bid. LOL

As yellowsubmarine said this is a wasted week but since this player has been (supposedly) removed from the game you won't have to worry about it next week.

 

Yup, the player won them all so crises over with. Seems I saw something similar a few years back but anyways. Next topic...
