Was just reading and post on the fourms and got timed out for taking to long. I was reading the post . Now the bug from the auction is in the fourms? You got to be kidding me. Does someone at Big Point think someone would bot the fourms. If so I do believe you folks just maybe a little paranoid. Just saying.

It's possible when logging in through the game backpage (the only way you can log into your forums account) has an activity timer - ie if you do not move pages or keep it active for 15 minutes or so it may log you out and need you to log back in. That is something that has been in effect for years, even in the old forums. Logging in that way does not prompt an ability to tell it to "keep me logged in", an option you may have come across on other websites as well.

As for botting the forums - we do have forum bots that stop by and try to spam it up, so yes that does happen^_^

The "TIMEOUT" seems to be happening more frequently lately and those persons not aware of it end up double posting threads or comments. It has been going on for quite a long time and is just increasing in occurrences. I can see it after typing a quick one line response or a super long response or not at all you never know but I "CUT" the posting then select the Forum that I posted to to see if my comment was added to the thread or if the thread was created (usually it was) and then move on to the next "New Post".

 

There was a timeout for forums? Wow, never knew that. Most I've spent on the forums is probably an hour, and I have never been timed out. I even went to grab food during that, which took about 20 minutes.

 

It varies. I have timed out after 10 min before but I was bouncing back and forth between it, the backpage, and the game. I was in it for over 2 hours before while at work and had forgotten I was there and was fine so in the end, it varies.
