[GI] The Truth?

How much time it would take to become Ultra elite ?, also how much money does it take for everything?. i want a fast pacing game that might be the reason i'm asking.

 

Lemme think if u buy everything on sale day, and if you get a sale code and rebate it will take maybe 10mil uri, Why ?

C'mon bro probably you playing this game for 2 months and you complain about it. Lemme tell you something i got my first ufe ship one year ago and im playing this game since 2006. So stop crying about it and farm. Being ufe is not a thing, the important thing is having fun with your friends in game.

 

took me £3000 give or take lol, 6 years.....i must be tapped in the head

everytime I think I am - someone says have u done this/got this - I just think errm - nope

 

my advise would be to start on a dead server and then start boxing or cubing.
in a few month, darkorbit will introduce the cross server.
i think the most benefical would be bthe people who ave ufe ship in dead server as they can save ammo and go to the cross server.
now to answer your question, it took me about 3K hours and about 500 dollar to be ufe.
but i was a noob so i had no idea, if i had the chance to make another acc ufe, i will make it in less than half of the money and hour.

 

UFE is a player who has 50 Pilot Points applied, a Ship with all LF-4's (assigned to Ship, Drones, and PET), Full BO2 shields (enough to equip entire ship, PET and 20 for Drones), have both Apis and Zeus Drones, and a complete set of Havoc and Hercules Drone designs. Not to mention the knowledge of how to use, and switch effectively, Drone Formations. All equipment is upgraded to level 16 (LF-4's, Rocket Launchers, Drones, Shield Generators). Not to mention the ability to use X-4 and RSB-75 ammo efficiently along with switching rockets for maximum offensive practices (slow down, freeze, damage, etc.) along with the ability to drop mines to cause even more damage and slow down of retreat to portal/safety.

So if we extend the OLD FE rules to UFE you need (not necessarily assigned) 46 LF-4's (Pusat), 57 BO2 Shield Generators (Citadel Ship), 20 7900 Speed (Citadel Ship) Generators, Premium Advantage (so you have all 3 quick slot bars), applied the 50 Pilot Points to equate maximum damage to PvP battles and defensive structure for you ship. Plus all of the skills to be able to outwit anything your opponent throws at you. These numbers are allowing you to have a TRUE Speed and Tank configuration for any ship you own, not that anyone actually equips TRUE configurations, but we are talking meaning of a status. Many UFE will also have more than one ship equipped and ready to fly.

The only way to be UFE Fast is to spend more money for building Galaxy Gates and buying the Apis and Zeus Drones, not to mention the log disks for the Pilot Points. You would spend all of your time doing gates to collect the LF-4's and drone designs needed while spending even more money to upgrade the equipment you are receiving from doing the gates. You have a choice spend hours to build up to UFE or spend money to reduce the hours required. You will need to spend several weeks just to be able to get to the Cubikons, assuming you are even strong enough to take them on, when you have leveled (level 11) up enough to get to them.

 

Don't forget the three Tech lab abilities : )

Also to be UFE you have to be premium imo, since you fire rockets at 2x the speed, and that matters.

 

YES this is correct but not required as in another thread there was mentioned a UFE failed to renew his Premium and was still able to battle PvP with little trouble until the issue was resolved.

 

It took me 2 months and $700 and for my second ship, and $1500 for my first ship. It takes alot of learning and being patient. Buy the uri on a Helix x4 or 3.5 but if you can wait till a x4 I would recommend that. Buy 1500 keys, straight off the bat, if you wanna wait you can or just buy them like me at 1050 uri. Box on an lf4 day, in 1 map and you might get between 20-35. for my first ship I boxed in 4-3 and I got 20, on my second ship I boxed in 1-8 and got 30. On a double reward day do your first epsilon since itll give you 2 lf4s and if you wanna try your luck you can. After you get your lf4s or most of them, do your zetas, as itll help with your pilot bio and itll give you more keys. After you do this do your kappa for your hercs. Or vice versa. During LF4 day you will get your full apis if you box all day, and you can just wait for Zeus to get your 10th drone. Pilot bio you can buy all your pilot bio or be patient as it comes.

Sidenote: My second ship is in GA1 and my first is in US East 1.

 

One thing to remember is DON'T BUILD APIS until you are ready to build the ZEUS drone.

YES and you will end up collecting enough pieces to build another APIS before you collect enough to build your ZEUS. Between 5 active accounts I have 3 Apis Drones built and a total of 21 Zeus parts (highest account has 7) and 140 Apis parts 45, 42, 37, 8, and 8 and most of these were collected on ZEUS days.

 

Well the apis will be built by itself on lf4 day with 1500 keys. Once you have that, and do zetas and kappas and all your gates, your booty keys will skyrocket again and with that use em on zeus day to lower the price and buy it.

 

Sheeesh it sound pretty complicated

No wonder I'm still a darn noob

He means don't construct Apis when you have all the parts. Do so when you plenty of LF-4s an enough Zeus parts to easily buy it.
Many people made this mistake. This can easily add several months on your road to UFE which means more money coming out of
your pocket. The system will continue to give plenty of drone parts especially if you don't need them. The trick is to get it to give
you something you want/need like LF-4's, ship designs, 50 cloaks etc. IF you construct drone too soon you wont be getting much
of those items. Instead you'll be putting parts towards a second Apis drone (DO you sly dogs) Once you have all the parts again
the system will start to give things you need/want

 

A not soo long time ago it was very expensive ( if you had not that much time ^^ )
So I talk about 2500€ ~
Now, with all those "Double Gg reward" events, "Gate discount" etc it is faster and ALOT cheaper !

If you won't spend money it still need some time... but man as long if you use the events @ the weekend it will be basically easy.
If you gonna spend some money it is even easier ( depends on how much etc ! )

"If" you have the Uri you will need maybe 3 weeks ( if you use the events and don't waste all the Uri ^^ )

Thats my opinion and I have some accounts in this game.
