Updated black booty box breaking news text:

Updated Obsidian Booty Boxes, filled with spectacular loot, can be opened with matching (craftable) keys:

• EMP-01, UBR-100 and UCB-100 ammo
• CD-B01, DMG-B01 and SREG-B01 boosters
• Goliath-X, Blaze Spectrum and Chimera P.E.T. designs
• Goliath-X, Havoc and Blace Spectrum drone designs
• Goliath-X and Tartarus ships
• Zeus drones
• Laser: LF-4
• Surgeon, Solace and Venom designs
• Drill Drone Formation
• Extra: Green Booty Keys, Log Disks, Seprom

You can discover Obsidian Booty Boxes on all normal maps.

Crafting materials are available as drops from all types of Saimon and Mordon (Scrapium), Pirate NPCs from Interceptors to Battle Rays (Aurus) and guaranteed rewards for all GGs (Schism).

To craft 1 key you need 20 Scrapium, 10 Aurus and 5 Schism.

Note: The Assembly recipe, the Obsidian Booty Boxes and the Schism drops are only available during the event.




Basically just making people aware of a few new items which are going to be in the Obsidian Booty Boxes. There's no date associated with this event, so is probably somehting which is planned to be repeated every once in a while.

It will be cool if they create a black design... I've always thought of that.

 

i like black boxxes , i play with no background , so i wont be able to see them , finally !!

Im pretty interested in what the usual bootys will contain. Dont care about the black ones cause its hard to craft them, not worth it.

 

green/gold are unchanged the ones that are posted are the same as a week or 2 ago craft keys all that u will find in them is listed u wont find any of the ammo and that u find in normal bootys unless stated

New event called "permafrostFissure" is listed in the breaking news bit. At the moment it has no text or description, just the name.

There also appears to be a new calendar in January that will end on the 24th of January. A similar thing happened last year with the Frost Hitac.

A new booster which has the code QR-01 is listed, no description or full name at the moment.

There's also 6 new quest entries.

Thanks I was wondering too, I have 150k RB-214 ammo to burn, cant wait !

 

I think you will rather burn EMP and insta shields against enemies.

 

The box that the demaner drops is only for 1 player to collect?

 

They shouldn't but currently its bugged as there are instances were a player can get many reward boxes and also you can't get yours if someone is over it.
