[SC] Discussion of Tartarus

Hi, Folks!
I'm a little bit late, but anyway...
As u could understand i want to talk about Tartarus("Tart") and
I want to take all our opinions in one thread for some order,
cuz i have seen many ppl do it in different topics already but in disorder.

So, i can be the first:
As for me Tartarus has everything - i mean more advantages than any other ship in DO.

• Speed #1 (for example 600 units of speed with ring formation)
• High HP (for example only Heart formation+Hercules - 446 000)
• pretty high dmg (14 - lasers)
• Rapid Fire kills spectrum easy

So, for me - that's enough for to say Tartarus is Imbalance.
Good stuff for runners - nothing more.
Vengi/Goli/Pusat/Aegis/Spearhead - they dont exist for me while Tart exists.
U can say "dude, u can call friend-spearhead and turn off his ability and it'll be easy kill..."
Ok)) but what about that "call spearhead!" is one more ship?
It means Tart requires 2 ships for to be killed - LOL. - 2vs1 becuase of Tart))
It makes me laughing. It's not balance.
To nerf Tartarus - meaningless, why?

• nerf his speed - goli already exist.
• nerf his HP - Pusat already exist.
• nerf his fire - just meangless.

1 thought - Tartarus has to be removed from the game.

For me Tartarus - easy for playing and it's boring((

Tartarus is hella annonying it always runs and bothers, ice rockets and slowdown rockets are just useless. Since Tartarus release pusat became useless.

That speed boost should be just for 5 secs every 30 secs and not perm. It cannot kill a goli in 1v1, but it always runs away and so makes it impossible to kill that

 

IMO ice rockets are just fine in getting the job done against tarts and you need to wait to ice them. Do not just ice them right away, ice them after they emp AND BEFORE they run away to get out of your range. As you ice them lay a slow-down mine right on top of them. If you do not have any ice rockets you do have opportunities to buy DCR rockets. Tarts are not impossible to kill, just gotta know how to wrangle one and keep it tamed.

 

If any ship in this game is OP it would be the spectrum not the tartarus, i think it's ability last's too long and cooldown is too fast.

 

Agreed. Let it be removed.

Spectrum already got a cooldown extention.

On top of that, they'll be reducing it's effectiveness. Right now, it reduces laser damage taken in by 80%, but they'll be lowering that amount to some unspecified value.

 

Dude, we're talking about normal tartarus, not about these who dont know how to use tartarus.
Normal Tartarus just waits ur ice-rocket then he uses emp and runs away...
such Tartarus can be killed only 2vs1 - with spearhead-supporting as i wrote it above, otherswise - impossble.

Tartarus are easy ships to kill i do it all the time if you listen to what ¹²ĆŁΞÄŊΞŖ™[R†M] says it's easy, i use freeze rocket first after they use emp lock them and use DCR rockets to slow them even drop a slow mine and their dead. Also just so you know they don't have to be the ones to hit the slow mine if their close enough to you run over the slow mine yourself and slow both of you if you think you have the fire power to kill them.

 

if U listen what i'm saying U're talking about some kind of s2pid Tartarus...but we're talking about normal Tartarus.
Such Tart can understand his advantage is speed, and he dont let anybody to make him slow by dcr/slow mine/etc, he keeps fire rage in fight. And he runs every time when he gets he has to run.
If U fight with brian(not like Tarts who's killed by U all the time) - put yourself on role of Tartarus, what would U do?

AND dont worry - we dont forget about s2pid Tartarus)

 

The HST rocket ability was the first step in the right direction. D O needs other damage ressource (laser damage is too high), this ability doesn't change the percentage damage amounts.

The super speed isn't suitable for Tartarus. However it's too late for a patch. Nerfing it will be unfair, because too many of us have bought it.

I guess the one not listening is you my friend, I kill Uber tartarus all the time maybe your just not strong enough of a pvp player to understand. You will need all the drone formations all level 16 lf4's all level 16 shields before you can even try and compete with some of the players in DO. Also all Hercules for drones or all havoc's if you don't have all of these then your not gonna be a challenge yet. Enjoy

Cuz as U said, Tart is easy kill.

 

No of course not is up to that players skills, there isn't one player in this game that can say they always win. Also I don't always carry seprom for my lazers all the time so that makes a big difference. I'm saying that Tartarus because of it's speed doesn't make it invincible and that's what your saying it is.

 

So i want to say no making mistakes with Tart is easy. U can dont let kill yourself easy also.
But ofc not every goli/aegis can be killed by Tart, but Tart can run easy in such situations (without spearhead).
it means Tart is king of situation at least in 95% of fights...i hope now U understand what i mean.

Maybe U dont understand - as U said many Tarts are easy kills for U - i dont have problems with it. Your opinion is counted.

 

Tartarus just shouldnt be faster than pusat,

Pusat has 250k less hp , less speed and same damage.

Makes this ship useless.

 

That's not true Tartarus has only 14 lazer slot's where as pusat has 16 lazers.

 

Guys yea i also agree to tart be removed but it wont happend.Remember when those new formations come in game ? 95% of players did not like them but they still put it in game they wont listen to u guys.

Listen you said pusat has less hp and less speed and same damage i'm just stating thats not true. The speed difference between them is not that much that it makes that much difference i own both ship's and i have been in both also. For me I would take either ship in a 1v1. Enjoy

 

In my opinion, if you want to kill a Tartarus buy a Tartarus.....I would if they weren't so darn ugly.

 

Tartarus are not over powered, overpowered regards to an aspect of advantage in a battle, overpowered does not have something to do with escapes like a tarturus' speed. and all if if you say all the Tartarus that I pop are able to be popped because they are "stupid" or dont know how to use the tart, you are very wrong, I have popped every red dotted tart there has been present whenever I'm online. I guess that means absolutely no one on my server knows how to use a tartarus lol.
