[GI] Spearhead

im new to this game and im wondering what s the best setup for a spearhead elite? thx

 

For me, since it rely on its speed to escape from enemies, it is better to put all elite speed generators (+10 speed) on it. Since it has small HP, consider putting Elite shields on your drones at least in 1 configuration and on other configuration with either full lasers or with some shields. Actually Spearhead is made as a Recon ship and not mainly a Pvp ship though the ship skills will be more helpful when you are in a group or with other friendlies. Configuring this ship mainly depends on your style of game play and will not always suit in any situation.

It is a good idea to go for speed & shield, as you can't fight very well with the spearhead.
And if you wish to survive, might i suggest emp and ultimate cloak, works wonders

 

If you want to play an Elite ship, don't use Spearhead for fighting (only a few slots for lazers, less HP than Surgeon and Aegis=>worse PvP ship)

Then collect tons of bonus boxes on the battle maps. That's better than trying to kill Kristallons.
