[UI] Event Registration - Demaner/Hitac Assault (Fear not being killed by Bully Players Anymore)

Anyway if this seems complicated to the coders, they could just nullify all mines or forbid players on dropping mines as these are one of the many reasons why some players can't/hardly participate in this kind of event. They could also just make it auto-reward once the demaner/hitac was killed to avoid the difficulty of getting rewards boxes since other players are just over those and will just disappear in time making our efforts useless.

 

Or the mines just detonate the instant they are dropped.
What might also work is to have registration limit the access players have to the event.
Say I register on a Sunday but can't register again until Tuesday giving others a 24 hour chance.

 

The only thing that i would agree with is for them to just rewards the players instead of having to pick up the cargo, the only problem with this is that it might effect the players with box doubler and salvage protocols. Enjoy hopefully the event starts soon!!

 

Yep that can work too but knowing DO, they should really consider the doubler/protocol/bio of the player or else it will deal more disappointment to such players.

Only DO can tell when its coming, though you could go to the "Unofficial Thread " to see some of the coming events and/or new stuffs here.

 

This idea should be not forgotten.

 

They should NOT remove mines, in fact doing so will only make it harder as UFE players have tons of shield and HP, where new players do not stand a chance! Especially not with the uncloack wave that the demaner sends out. HP mines however ignore the total amount of HP and damage % based which makes them the only good threat new players got against UFE's. I have been able to capture over 200 boxes, and not by hitting anything but just by playing it smart. The mines kill the guys who just sit on the boxes with ring formation until someone moves or dies.

That could be another senario, but mostly new players got killed by those mines even before they could hit the Demaner with their lasers. The best thing is that they should create a no-pvp zone at least around the Demaner and make the rewards to be auto received because even smaller players landed a hit with the Demaner and expected to receive the reward box (if they successfully coded it to be only visible/clickable to respective players and not to all) they could be easily killed by UFE enemies or co-company ships while waiting for their reward box and won't receive the rewards anymore.

 

Handling the lags isn't smart. It's gambling, seeing the mines during a current frame (and escape) or seeing the the mines during a past frame (and die)

I tried Demaner once. There were around 15 players and I only saw 1 "picture"/frame every 4 seconds. I were killed by mines, which are set during the lagg time.

 

did you try in in 3D, and with decent computer? because then I have no problems

That new Lf-4 is rubbish, best to stick to the regular ones.

 

I think I like the hp and pve lf4 but not the pvp lf4

 

The PvP laser would destroy me...even if i use Ring formation.
